Developer Comments: In order to bring the 57mm AT Gun in line with other AT Guns from other factions in the same Tier, we have increased the base penetration to improve performance when not using AP rounds. Take Aim shifted to a timed ability to reflect its power. Accuracy changed to match other anti-tank guns.
Penetration from 140/125/115 to 150/140/130
Take Aim! now a timed ability. 20 seconds, 60 second recharge.
Accuracy changed from 0.05/0.0425/0.03 to 0.055/0.05/0.04
about 90 % chance now at max range so i say it counter it (and u can buff it's pen too) Yeah i forgot that its pen got buff in mid and long range got buffed too but think about it this way if you pinn riflemen cuz you know riflemen dont have smoke anymore and get like 2 stugs keep jacksons at bay now you will tell me how put your grens in front and an mg supporting them and 2 stugs comming and quicly take down jacksons cuz jacksons wont have sight due to pinned riflemen |
is this what u mean ? if so: u need 1 inf a p4 and a pack vs 1 jackson ? What about his at gun and rifle man ?
as i said before p4s are not the counter to jackson as they will get the first shot and are less likely to miss and can still back out keeping the range/accuracy advantage
sherman can pen stug (120 mid pen,140 close pen vs 140 frontal armor 10 more than jackson) and is faster so it can out flank it as the stug need to rotate to fire(unlike the jackson)and syug has less hp too
what is the captan argument about ? do u want to play without at guns (they actually counter stug cause they pen and out range it unlike the pack that has the same range)
btw u can see my post history if u think im an axis fan boy, i was the first to ask for buff to penal and kv1, i just dont like over tuned units without reason and unused unit (still waiting for the m 42 buff) Btw i am not here to argu with someone i am here to talk about balance and i seen sometimes at long range USF AT gun normal rounds bounce throw a stug cuz normal AT sheels from the american AT is 150/135/115 |

no, it's not about vag, but it's about how the hell is p4 supposed to reach close range if it's slower than jackson ? go all infrantry first get sight of jackson bring paks supporting p4 if you get engine damage to jacksons the better if not get out of its sight make it come close OR if oyu got a second path to flank get there and you are close and get multiplayer p4s if oyu see the enemy gets a lot of jacksons but i got one question how can i counter stugs with shermans cant pen them if i dont go captain i am literly doomed can you answear me that ? |

and jackson get 0.75 moving accuracy and has enough armor to bounce p4 shot (115 pen vs jackson armor 130), so no p4 is not the counter to jackson
the only somewhat counter right now is the jagdp4 but it still can't chase it and still miss it on the move First of all i am writting fast non like you that i bet you take like take 30 mins to write something like this second p4 pen is 125 and why does my sherman shots bounce throw stug cuz stug realods time makes me go flank him at half HP of sherman and if i get panzerfaust or pak then what stug armor from 140 to 130 |

Now, if you have managed to snare any kind of vehicle other then JT with a gammon bomb, you'd be the first in CoH2 history. Its also only temporary snare, just like the others short of sniper crit and sniper is probably last unit you want to have in the armored combat fray.

You all would be bitching about Fireflies just as much if brits had any means to snare vehicles without resorting to a PTRS squad. So wait my dude they got PIATS and OP AS m1919s stupid double bren AND AEC cancer shot GG and then jacksons is the problem non commadner comet or chiurchil CHOISE USF what has E8 if commadner which i always go and if not jackson ONLY JACKSON which are fiannlly usuable and if the enemy has like 3 panthers elephant paks and p4s and palyign defensive you are doomed you cant even kite cuz sometimes shot bounces especialyl vs super heavies |
Yeah, Fireflys also have 640HP, High DPS, Pen and Accuracy, but do not have the speed, ROF, rotation, etc of the Jackson. That is why Fireflys, IMO, are not OP.
Yeah USF got one buff to late game FINALLY and you all cry cuzx oyu odnt know how to counter it easu p4 get 3 they got fast relaod and run and flank jackson before they aim at you and your p4 has faster reload time |
I understand your idea of making the jackson the last hope in terms of AT for the USF. But the fact is that USF always has a lot of AT in their infantry, plus a well balanced AT gun, plus almost always floating on resources (specially in team games).
Jackson doesnt need to be that powerfull to snipe KT or JT, because you invalide all of the others axis tanks aswell, specially OST: Panther, Tiger, P4, Stugs.
IT DOES NEED you got OP fireafly 640 and OP damage and jacksons is oyur problem how muc hfar will you go my dude |
again, range to 55 and jackson is balanced then put stupid stug fuel to 120 cuz it kills my sherman |
