If I was the opponent I would have stopped calling the Tigers after the first one and just pump out Stugs. Have fun having two autocannons that SU-76 levels of AT insanity.
Yeah I don't really know what he was doing lol. He was good at micro but he just kept calling in tigers everywhere, and couldn't really support them cuz he was drained after he stalled for the first one and it died. |
Yeah that's also a thing. It can "only" eat two PaK shots. You usually realize the PaK when it got its first hit and if you want to move it back, the fucked up pathing will get it killed all the time.
Yeah well that's a problem with all non-tank vehicles. Most lights can survive 2 AT gun/tank cannon rounds IIRC. Usf flaktrack can only take 1 shot lol. |
Flak88 and of course Tiger (used in 1943 in a Tunisia). Yeah lack of OP late game tanks would be better for the balancing the game.

They can force it back easily, not sure about killing it unless it gets snared or you got Jackson backup, I had 2 E8s kill a Tiger once.
Killed 3 tigers with e8s on westwall (I think that's what it's called) 1v1 once. That was a long game. |
Yeah. The sound is so vague man. Sometimes the sirens aren't heard but the last split second of the bomb and explosion are audible. Sometimes you hear nothing at all and sometimes you only hear the explosion lol.
Yeah. And even if you do hear the sound, something's gonna get wiped cuz you send it towards the bomb instead of away on accident lol. With smoke that wouldn't happen. |
Yep. The sound simply gets lost in all the others sounds in the chaos. Sometimes the impact and explosion make no sound either. This ability needs a rework soon.
Some made the suggestion to lowering it´s damage. I don´t think this is a problem in itself, but rather certain circumstances are a problem. It needs at least some visual queue, like smoke or a plane coming in or whatever.
Definitely needs some smoke cues. The audio's too ambiguous as to where the massive uberwipe bomb will fall. I think the ability would be ok as-is if it had a visual pinpoint, as right now you pretty much have to guess at where it's going to land. |
Both are very similar in dps overall but due to the .50 cal having 3 penetration justifies it be 70 munitions instead of 60 munitions. On another note I only go Easy Eight if I'm confident in my anti-infantry department and don't expect any heavy armor coming like panther or tiger. Else Easy Eight dominates axis medium tanks with it's higher armor, hp, and penetration while remaining decent against infantry. Second armor choice is Jackson if I need AT which generally USF does if you start facing Panthers and duel scotts if I'm low on infantry or lack sufficient AI. WP barrage, like Tobis stated, is great for putting behind in retreat path or forcing his support weapons to move. I had a 1v1 match earlier today where my WP allowed me to wipe two veterancy 3 grenadiers and a pioneers.
One more thing to be sure to use is smoke grenades and smoke barrages to cover your RE advance as they're extremely fragile and relies on smoke to flame buildings or cover.

I disagree with this entirely. Ostheer is stuck with far shittier tanks as their top end armor if they choose a so called "toothless" doctrine. OKW already gets vet 5, their late game power in 4v4 is silly. Tiger II should be doctrine specific, there is no reason why they can't survive with a very superior Panzer IV and Panther. Every other rare super tank in the game is specific to a doctrine.

A bit OP bit I believe their T4 HQ truck with the flak gun ignores smoke as well. Or maybe it was WP smoke shells, will have to test it tonight.
It definitely doesn't ignore normal smoke. I think it can shoot through the usf white phosphorus barrage in the rifle company tho. |
Lel do you even remember what happened when EZ8 were call in? Imagine the Pershing but much more of them and they come at CP10 if I'm not mistaken which absolutely destroyed OKW/OST without relying on their own callins.
