So in this game, we pretty much dominated most of the map until tanks started rolling and we got stretched thin. They both spammed jp4s everywhere, which we could deal with, but then one guy calls in a JT and we kinda just had to give in to it or go around to other sectors and our tanks couldn't function very effectively. I would have gotten more PIATs or some at guns, but he always kept his JT back on the hill with the two flakHQs and had isgs and walking stuka, so I didn't want to waste mp on an at gun that would die after firing two rounds. Is there anything we could have done differently in this situation or in general? What can counter a decently/even marginally supported JT? Any advice would be very appreciated. |
The command panther or double jagpanzer should do the trick
I know that crocodile is nowhere near balanced, but still, counters exist. It´s better to do your best and find new strategies, Brits were nerfed this patch, they aren´t to get nerfed any soon, I fear
That's my point. An equivalent amount of resources invested in tanks will always beat back a croc. |
Neither does Ostheer, unless you take the highly overpriced and pricey to upgrade stormtroopers. Soviets have guards and shock troops. Not good enough?
They have grens and pgrens the former is ok, the latter is pricy but very very good. Soviets do have guards (nerfed, but still good) and shocks (not that good) but those are both doctrinal, so what you do for 2-3cps is always gonna be penal spam if you want to win. At least ost has an effective mg. |
Yeah well soviets don't have to fight a flame spewing tank that has like double the health of their own tanks lol and has a main gun. Still fighting a KT as Soviets feels like you are throwing rocks at it.
Soviets also don't have good nondoc infantry except penals anymore. The main gun is pretty negligible, since it only does half damage and shoots whatever the hell it wants to. Really if you have tanks a croc shouldn't be a problem. |
Fuwl cost is same as tiger
On topic. Go stugs and 1 pak. The vet1 pak stun will freeze it, so the other tanks (stugs) can finish it.
If you have more problems dealing with it, post a replay on our state office so our strategist can help you.
Or if you're okw just get a kt or jagd and 200+ fuel down the drain on a pure ai tank for the brit. If you can't get a kt or jagd out within 10 minutes of the croc, it's not the croc that made you lose. |

The Vickers is just stupid sometimes, it doesnt pin as well as the MG42 but you dont need to pin when you can kill everything. Today I had a fight between my MG42 in the big church of Düsseldorf versus a vickers in green cover, and the Vickers won without losing a model while my MG42 had to retreat with 1 man and extremely low health.
Vickers has very high damage, very low suppression. My vickers forces retreats due to damage more than due to pins lol. |
Dude seriously. Relic's done with this game. Maybe they release a couple community made skins in 2 years and then they call it quits for coh2. Get real man, they're not adding any more gameplay content. |
The JU87s cost 66% of the P47s and can kill most Allied Armor in a single sweep, while you'd consider yourself lucky if your Thunderbolts do something, the average player will swear to you they only kill tanks by crashing on top of them.
Yup. Ju87 is a bit broken though. |

This. For me MG34 doesn't worth to buy except I'm having big MP flow and there are many building at the side of the map with lack of my presence.
Because in game it's going up against a lot of mobile allied infantry and doesn't provide the performance axis players usually see from their suppression platforms like the mg42, flakhq, or even vet4+ obers lol. |

It fires 2 more bullets per second of burst.
So somewhat faster, but not by that much? |
