Then i'm wondering why the majority of the community agrees that some pros are totally toxic.
My point...
I would honestly debate that fact. Im glad you avoided using absolutes and kept to things like "majority" and "some," but even then I think you're overestimating. I imagine most people would define pro (for 1v1) as gcs2 level players. Even if you loosened up that definition to include gcs2 qualifier players (so the top 32 seeds from the list), I doubt anyone would really call a noticeable number of these players toxic.
Side note: According to completely subjective personal observations, a lot of people who are "anti-pro" are also pretty toxic (just so you know, im not referring to you with this, Overlord).
This too. |
If they give different amounts of XP you'd know the which was constructed. Unsure if they do give different amounts but considering they cost different that is a possibilty.
Ah true. That’s handy. |
You can still see xp kickers through fog of war. How does that help differentiate between the two soviet tiers tho? I’m legitimately curious. |
I mean, the game does have the suomi and STG even though it's supposed to be set in 1940. They really aren't playing with the rules super tight on the setting.
Yeah that’s true. Even better is when British paratroopers run around with the STG44 in 1940 XD
And personally, it doesn’t bother me at all but the point was it’s silly to be worried that the game isn’t launching with the mosin or BAR or garand with the British army. If anything, people should be wondering why the suomi and STG are in at release. |
I never went around insulting them, even though i hate their attitude. I really respect and admire D0ggy because when i needed help, he gave me advice and was gentle.
Seems like an unfair stereotyped view of the pros then, doesn't it?
They don't really have much in common as a group other than their skill level; it's not like they're some sort of tight-knit special interest group or something. |
================
- Agreed
- A lot of people are freaking out online that there are no PPSH, Mosin Nagant, Garand and BAR
Yes, because it's a well known fact that the British army made extensive use of the PPSH and Mosin Nagant on the Western Front XD
They need to stop and think for a second lol. |
Remember the pyrotechnics upgrade comes with increased LOS so you shouldn't really be running into unscreened MGs with it anyway.
I feel as though things have slowly been moving towards more use of the base howitzers with the addition of the healing forward HQ making it not necessary to get the heal upgrade on the tommies. The flares could probably do with a small range increase, I don't think it would be good for it to be all the way to 35 range though.
Yeah I agree, but the issue is that you have to to throw the arty flare unless you outflank their position, in which case you might as well just shoot it. IMO just under small arms range would be a fair range for the flare. |
in many cases i drive around the grens/ volks and kill in no time their support weapons. to easy..to fast.
and the bren carrier: its a very good when played well...it can life beyond midgame and will be very usefully...to much for this low cost in my eyes. it blleds so much manpower and can repair by itself/ by an engie.
Not like grenadiers have an ability that can damage engines or anything... |
Seems to be the case, particularly for the WC 51 that gets shared vet, so that will likely get removed, though it will make the WC 51 a massive pain to vet up which means another method needs to be found. For Vehicle Crews, the veterancy can easily be removed since it auto grants increased repairs and tommy guns.
Why not just decrease the wc51s veterancy requirements? They seem very high right now, as I was only able to get a wc51 to like vet2 after about 15 minutes of almost constant fighting with the mg upgrade for ten of those minutes. |
Perhaps make Pyro arty call-in just drop normal arty flares? Not the special snowflake flare? No lengthy throw animation, can be 35 range without looking silly, and in-line with similar artillery spotters, like Pathfinder or Major.
Also, for the idea of smoke, what about giving Sappers WP smoke grenades? Garrison clear and smoke, you just can't walk through it without dying unlike normal smoke. Personally, I'd rather see that than an HEAT grenade (didn't exist IRL AFAIK) and give Infantry Sections a button vehicle ability that requires brens.
That’s getting into possibly very cheesy territory though. I’d prefer if they actually had to throw it still, but with better range. I just think the instantaneous nature of actual arty flares is out of place for this ability and would be a bit frustrating to play against. |
