The best HE shell is the shell that also do AT damage.
Use the AP then. Sherman AP shell has better AoE profile than the cromwell. |
Sherman is fine. 110F for best HE shells of any medium, MG upgrade, best moving accuracy modifier, versatile smoke dispenser and gets decrew. Go urban assault and buy dozer upgrade and you get 215 armor and 720 HP. Can trade handily with OKW p4s with that upgrade for cheaper fuel price.
Something that needs to be repeated continuously is that medium tanks are largely rng fiestas. Sometimes p4s dump on opposing squads, sometimes they miss continuously. Same goes for the sherman, the t34, and the cromwell. Play safe with them and you can save your units from bad engagements.
Don't like HE sherman? Try one of the multiple other sherman variants who are all great in their own right. |

Rifles win against volks always except during the power creep upgrade on volks. I don't know where you're going with here. Obers are a natural upgrade to volks and they shred pretty much everything. The usual 3x rifles + officer needs to be blobbed to be effective once obers hit the field as they will usually support volks and laser down from long range BAR rifles. So I still don't get the stupid whataboutism of your post
EDIT: And I didn't compare them in a vacuum. I didn't do any long range 3 minute engagements like they are the only units in the field. I rushed them to each other, something you will see often in teamgames. All of the engagements lasted for <10 seconds. So please stop with the usual BS that comes out of you and think for a second. You can go with whataboutism in a circle.
But rangers have a sherman. But okw has an aggressive raketen. But USF has this, but OKW has that.... fuc* me some people are dense
That's the problem here. Now apply it to the thread. USF have better starters, OKW have more accessible elites, it's really not that hard. Arguments can be made for matching ober popcap or getting a bit more utility. Arguing my 3x bar rangers lose while closing in to IR StG obers is like asking why do rifles lose on the close to pgrens. They're supposed to lose. |
Reading comprehension over 9000.
Now compare rifles to volks and see the faction as a whole instead of comparing 2 units in a vacuum. |
Isn't there a bulletin for this exact thing? Also the ostwind does insane amounts of damage anyways. Why even need to suppress. |
I found this hard to believe as well, so I tested it vet 0 with flamethrower vs G43 from around a house, and the pfusi's went from losing tremendously without G43s where the assengi had 80% HP left to winning.
G43s are that good close range because they fire insanely quick. Didn't bother testing it with vet since I'd put some money that pfusi's win.
Pfusi's OP, not like it's been said for years. |
Ctrl + ` (backquote, same key as tilde(~)) allows you to see prestige, bulletins, and selected commanders |
UKF:
Every change for brits aside from the machine gun change is buffs. Brits are bad in 1s but they can hold their own in teamgames and lean on teammates. Some of the changes are ridiculous. Bolster buff, bofors buff, firefly buff, churchill buff, AVRE. If the goal is to make brits push the entire playerbase to coh3 and out of coh2 then this is a good start. Furthermore why are we giving pyro sections better camo detection? That's something OST needs against commandos instead of throwing bodies at where you think the commandos are and praying your 42 is setup in the right direction.
OKW:
Still no changes to 90% DPS on the move pfusis which are the backbone of OKW meta, its only been overshadowed by ST since last patch. No changes to OKW elites either which all destroy sections with minimal micro input, particularly JLI. Please nerf the assualt arty from breakthrough in terms of CD. It had like a 30 second CD after the barrage has been completed. It's able to be used far too quickly back-to-back. |
i honestly wasn't even aware of the fast fire bug until yesterday when i saw one of tightrope's casts.
out of all things this bug/exploit is probably what turns the ST from an excellent, maybe slightly too good unit into completely bonkers. seems as if you can skip the entire wind-up animation while moving, giving you essentially 5 to 10 m more range to fire at your unsuspecting target from way beyond visual range. the fact that this doesn't require any special setup, unlike preparing an ambush from behind a sight blocker, combined with the high lethality of the round and zero chance to evade it is just broken and unparalleled by any other unit in the game.
for those who don't know what i'm talking about this is the video.
i agree with all items on the list, but this bug needs to get the highest priority for a fix by far.
I know people have been calling this an "exploit", but this is very similar to glide shooting. Same thing that happens when OKW goes to scavenge and they don't pull their blow torches out for 2-3 seconds. Difference is this is a 1 shot wipe machine |
