Maybe since you've been working at Relic, but not historically, absolutely not. We have an ongoing beta where we're getting direct feedback on balance changes before they're implemented. This takes the working relationship we had in the last CoH patch and has turned it into an ongoing and evolving project. If you decided not to take part in that, that's fine. But don't diminish the contribution of those who are. Edit: Budwise if you, or anyone else, wants to get into the beta let me know and we'll get you in the next round. Thread: Revitalizing the COH2 community?9 Feb 2014, 05:04 AM We actually debated that. The YT celeb thing. The original idea was to get some top level SC2 casters to play the game and stream it. But Lynx and I pushed to instead use that money to fly our community casters to Vancouver. Later some of that money ended up funding SNF. But who knows, we may try something like that in the future. We are working closer with the community than at any time previous in our history and have been running a balance beta with a number of players from every skill level. So I'd like to know, why don't you participate in Company of Heroes 2 tournaments? This is about competing, not watching. Also if you do take part in tournaments we don't need to hear from you saying that you do unless there has in the past been something that prevented you from taking part that you can talk about. Ideally keep your answer simple. Short answers. Examples: - Busy on the weekends - Don't want to lose in the first round - Don't like CoH2's balance - School - Don't play multiplayer - I only play 4v4 Also what would get you to take part in a future tournament? What could we (at Relic) do? Same thing, keep your answers as brief and to the point as possible. Examples: - Have a 4v4 tournament. - Improve balance - Have the tournament during a weekday - Help me get better at the game Thanks to everyone who takes part. Thread: Strategy in Company of Heroes 25 Feb 2014, 20:05 PM I don't know how useful talk of numbers is in a thread about how much people enjoy the game. It seems off-topic and there's a lot of people working with incomplete knowledge of the situation. We're happy with the sales figures, and with the number of people playing. There's nearly 5,000 playing right now on a Wednesday afternoon. Inverse's feedback is really valuable because he knows what he's talking about, and he's not going into speculation on things that he doesn't. He's not saying that the game is failing sales wise, just that it fails on a level of strategy, which is useful for us to hear and is something we can use to improve. When SEGA releases it's next sales figures we're happy you'll get to see what numbers we've got. Until then we can't say anything specific. Talking about how you see the game, how you enjoy it (or don't) is super useful feedback for us. In: Lobby

Thread: Favourite Theater of War Mission4 Feb 2014, 23:56 PM We're trying to figure out what's next for CoH, and it would be handy for the designers to know which mission you've played you enjoyed the most. So please let us know. What's your favourite Theater of War mission that you've played? Why? It would be great if people stuck to those 2 questions. We don't need suggestions like "Set it in Japan!" and "Add US!". We're not looking at those aspects, we're looking at what type of missions we made and what was the most popular. Those are all great suggestions, but this thread is just to figure out what you liked in ToW. If you didn't like ToW then that's cool, but this thread probably isn't for you.
