Thread: Enforcement should show proof while replying or banning25 May 2021, 04:57 AM was it really necessary to post this again after your first attempt got locked instantly for obvious reasons? if you got banned, then there's certainly a good reason for it. one that very likely only you, relic, and whoever reported you know any specifics about. and if you have absolutely no clue what this might have been it's probably a good idea to to recap what you've said and done in-game that could have been deemed inapropriate, and if it might be better not to repeat it in the future. anyway, i do agree the specific reason for a ban should be communicated more clearly. though most of the time it should be fairly obvious for the recipient why they were banned. For example: Grenades, onmap artillery, offmap abilities and so on. Atm it is not very user friendly, because you can't know all the stats. Some abilities kill your own troops outright while others do next to nothing. Friendly fire should always hurt somehow (although team killers exist). It is just plain dumb if you can safely call in fire at your own positions/troops to fend off an opponent push. yeah totally agree. at least you should be punished if you run into your own artillery fire. i'm not sure if it is possible to differentiate between ff against player-owned and allied troops, but if it is it might be a good idea to have relatively high ff mulipliers for your own units and less drastic punishment for allied ones. Which affects the main gun DPM but hardly has an impact on the MGs'. yeah that's a fair point of course. though there are quite a few scenarios where stop-shooting won't work out that well, like chasing down retreating squads, having to kite infantry with AT or a snare, or those situations where your tank cruises past a sight blocker and suddenly starts shooting (and consequently missing by a mile) at a squad that just popped their heads out of the FoW. hence why i think a moving scatter buff for the pershing wouldn't be a wasted vet slot, even though stop-shooting is without a doubt a thing. The Pershing will have much better AI while moving and at 35-45 range because of its better AOE. that's not quite so clear-cut i'm afraid. both have MGs with a moving acc multiplier of 0.5, meaning their moving DPS from MGs gets cut in half. however, they also both have a x2 multi to moving scatter, which doubles both angular and distance scatter. hence,the scatter area rises by the factor of 2^2 and, consequently, the chance to hit sth with the main gun is only roughly a quarter of that when standing still. so the tiger should actually lose less dps on the move than the pershing on average In: COH2 Balance

Thats why It needs to be adjusted. you do understand that these 'irrelevant' vet gains do exactly what you complain about; they decrease the impact of rng by significantly increasing the odds of actually hitting something? and that this is a trait OKW has almost exclusively since no other faction's tanks gain lower scatter and better moving acc with vet (apart from few very select exceptions)? and that OKW tanks get this on top of other vet bonuses that are standard for every faction (e.g. 30% better reload, mobility, etc.)? It is too risky to pushing while using 240mm ( being doomed by your whole shell). So NO New 240mm arty form can have more friendly fire dmg, not current one. iirc railway arty and the 240mm offmap do not have the same friendly fire modifiers and the latter does way less damage to your own troops, which i guess was vipper's point. you can certainly argue if it were better to have higher ff on every offmap or if that would open the door to easier team-killing (intended or by accident), but i think the same rules should apply to either side. Crews acting like drunk teenagers having fun with their parents sedan... Combat blitz can be buffed or accuracy can be buffed or reaction time- aim time, something inculudes timing for fcks sake... Actually all okw needs some vet re-work. not sure which unit exactly you're complaining about, but veterancy bonuses for OKW's tanks are very good across the board, vet 4 & 5 being no exception here. the pz.iv, for example, gets a 20% scatter reduction at 4 stars and 25% better accuracy on the move plus a decent sight increase upon reaching vet 5. those are massive combat buffs against both tanks and infantry that OKW gets on top of the usual reload and mobility boost all factions get with vet on their respective tanks. How did you get the B-4 radius? What website do you use to host the images you post? serealia's site is a really good resource for unit stats and usually quite accurate. otherwise the mod tools give direct access to all relevant stats, though, sadly, both haven't been updated in quite a while and are a couple of patches behind the live version. hence, there's no really reliable source for this kind of info at the moment apart from trying to keep track of every change manually via patch notes, which is highly error-prone and sucks pretty much tbh. luckily, not much has changed for artillery pieces in quite a while, so serealia is still reliable here. i've taken the stats for the new B-4 from what has been posted in the patch notes (damage from 640 to 400, AoE max from 10 to 12, AoE distance (n/m/f) from 2.5/5/7.5 to 2/5/7.5, AoE damage (n/m/f) from 1/0.15/0.05 to 1/0.24375/0.1125) oh and i use coh2.com to host images used here, just go to your profile, 'my files' and upload the images directly there.
