You should play them. Recon paras with thompsons have tactical assault. They don't get demos in exchange for laying mines



However, it seems that tactical assault being missing was either an issue on my side or a bug since with 2.1 it's back

Short question regarding recon paras:
Was it intentional to also remove the concentrated fire ability on the squad equipped with thompsons? As far as I can see, the squad has been nerfed in 4 aspects:
- 2 instead of 3 thompson upgrade
- 1 instead of two slots for upgrades (it used to be possible to have 3 thompsons and 2 bars)
- accuracy nerf, which is fine in exchange for vet 2 healing
- removal of concentrated fire (undocumented/bug?)

I get that Emplacements can make for some pretty frustrating gameplay but I don't know how you can realistically keep them alive with 5 second Brace. A flank with two Volks and two spaced out flame nades and goodbye emplacement - just eyeballing it this Brace nerf seems to over reward flanks even if emplacements are more affordable now.

Both are 25. Eh that's actually pretty useful. Still would like to see riflemen fire up not have debuffs. There's already so many no consequences sprint abilities in the game; cons have it, jaegers have it and assault nades lol, the russian army can have it at the same time, etc.
