Praise the Luchs arrival nerf. |
Dont really see the need for the assault engineers to come inside the vehicle, if one forgets this is the case then it's manpower wasted and not to mention that it's weird that all vehicles come with crews and then there is this special halftrack that for some reason comes with assault engineers, keep things consistent guys.
Another thing is that this is the perfect commander for the combined arms ability. One of the reasons no one uses this ability is because it's very hard for your infantry to keep up with your tank assault while the ability is active. Being this commander all about light vehicles, vehicles which can carry infantry right behind armored assaults making using combined arms much more viable.
As much as I like the wc51 truck I dont know if some sort of anti tank airsupport would be better in keeping this commander a viable choice...
This is how I would suggest this commander should look like:
-Raid Tactics
-M21 Mortar Half-Track
-M3 Half-Track
-Combined Arms (feels a bit expensive for what it does, maybe adjust the price and leave the ability as it is)
-P47 Rocket Run
P47s on a Mechanized Doctrine? |
I also really like "See the world they said!", as it's both a really useful bulletin if you plan to use REs extensively and a CoH1 Engineers reference, Shell Rush is the last one I'd recommend come next patch when the Jackson can pull their weight as your heavy duty TD in the lategame. |
I don't see any reason for USF to do anything but Riflemen Bulletins, usually accuracy, exp and cooldown+reload. |
If the Greyhound got nerfed, can it go back to CP4 then? |
Adding a Plane like the one that drops Paratroopers would go a long way to avoid people getting owned by this ability, it should be one of those "move or get wiped" skills, to help the Commander open up new openings to assault through. |

Did they increase lethality as well as delay? I don't remember them being this lethal. |
It's a doctrinal Oorah! It shouldn't have any debuff tied to it. |
I think Mr. Smith is on point.
With the Greyhound, Raid and other Munitions intensive skills as well as the paradrop, you won't get BARs unless you really get something like a cache and double munitions, you'd be stuck with M1 Garands for most of the game. |
Also, on the topic of airborne vs recon support, why are ir pathfinders strictly better than normal pathfinders while also being 40mp cheaper?
Seriously, who would play airborne post patch? Recon support gets pathfinders, paras, and airdropped at guns (all for much cheaper than the airborne equivalents), while also getting a sight/cap speed buff, one of the best light vehicles in the game, and a meh arty barrage. Airborne, on the other hand, gets a massively overpriced mg calldown, p47s, and thompsons on its overpriced paras. Yeah, this seems like a fair tradeoff.
If airborne's units were reasonably priced, this actually would be fair. p47s are nice, an airdropped mg can come in handy as well, and being able to choose precisely which units you want to call in has value. However, when recon support gets 60% of airborne's units and every single one of them is significantly cheaper, significantly better, or both, then airborne becomes pretty pointless. I actually think that recon is fine (possibly aside from the greyhound), but airborne badly needs cost reductions on everything but p47s.
I don't disagree with you, but one thing to note is that Airborne Pathies get 2 Scoped Garandas instead of one, that makes them more lethal in combat. |
