Only issue is why would u ever bother with Cpt tier. That swap on vehicles and swapping LT/Cpt (if we consider that LT > Cpt as a unit).
I think there are also alternatives in making the shock value of the free officer lesser while providing a richer and more available tech/tool options.
Pack Howitzer and ATG are really good in maps where there is chokepoints or lanes, I feel ATG would work really well with static AAHT play, the Stuart is really weak nowadays. |
M20 is still usable but quite overpriced, best thing you can do with it is lay as many mines as you can while it's alive and bait enemies over them with it, very good scouting unit and capping police in the lategame. Though it's bound to get two shot eventually by AT.
I can't use the AAHT for the life of me. |

Tbh I think all the heavy vehicles in the game save for the Tiger I and the Churchill (base version) are pretty gimped.

They are very predictable, their versatility is tied to the very rigid way they tech up, forcing Commander choices to allow you to skip a tech or provide you with a call if you wanna get basic tools a faction like OKW gets at T0 regardless of their teching of choice.
If you let your opponent organize a defense, you will slowly begin to lose, grinded to dust by much cheaper infantry (that can hold it's own against yours up to vet3 double upgraded status) and much better tanks discounting the M26 Pershing. Which is why most USF players will pick this doctrine, unless they really need something else like flamers, air support or artillery pieces to give up the only tank in their arsenal that might bounce a shot. |
Don't forget, for some odd reason STG44's DONT DROP, but Bars drop like fucking candy. What is with that?
They are coded like SMGs, that never drop and replaced upon reinforcing, BARs are coded like LMGs that drop often when double upgraded. |
The reverse Blitz makes no sense, and I don't get why it hasn't been removed.
The smoke is by no means "over the top" though. Smoke isn't an invincibility shield. And it affects the user's sight as well. It's a balanced ability.
Let it be know I also think it's too strong on the one unit I use it often, the USF Scott, the strength of Panzer Tactician is the fact it's ability on everything. Solid doctrinal skill. |
