I actually like recon support though. The paradrop is super cost efficient (325 mp for an at gun and paras, which cost 380 IIRC in airborne lol) and pathfinder arty is really good. Cluster bombs are decent too, and can be devastating if you time them right (sometimes they somehow manage to miss pretty much everything though).
I'm a big fan of RS myself, just used it today with decent success, Raid can be used with Scotts in the lategame to get back territory really fast too, Greyhound is AI only now but it fills a nice niche in the LT rooster.
Nosliw however has the meta, Infantry is amazing in Open maps or vs camping, Pershing is always good and specially in Urban maps, while Airborne is there mostly for the P47s for those annoying Super Heavy TDs that neuters USF's vehicle play. |
Could you make the CavRifle Thompsons cheaper again and make them use a weapon slot each? Kinda like Volksgrenadiers STGs, doesn't feel like a good idea to give them a BAR or Bazooka when they are CQC troops anyway. |
I'd always get one Sherman first if you are going to use them, protect it and replace it if it dies, .50 cal and HE shells is needed to help Riflemen vs veteran german infantry. |
There is no possible combination they can crank out that beats something like G43s, CAS, Tiger or Recon, Stuka Bomb, Elephant.
Also CavRifles Covering Fire was nerfed hard, you lose 90% of your damage to deny enemies 35% (Used to be 70%), sounds really hard to justify or find a situation this would help you.
It's funny though, how German Infantry Doctrine best utility is to support tank, through improved repairs. |
Airborne Paratroopers can get ELITE Bazookas from the weapon racks, all the Package gives them is stealth to first strike enemy armor, nothing else. |

He likely wastes his munitions on desperation rifle grenades, it seems like it's very easy to basepin this guy, leave him without resources and thinking the Germans are underpowered. |
Rifles starting RA is 0,97 to be precise, they still cost more and will easily lose to much cheaper grenadiers and volks grenadiers with basic support from T0 units, USF light vehicles being all nerfed also means they got a lot more weight to carry to keep the faction competitive.
Which is sadly not the case. |

I just think 70 is too much, even if 45 was too little, 60 would be a good compromise.
Not really much else to say about USF Commanders, both are really good now, one with flexible options for early picking and the other with specialized units that fill niches the faction lacks. |
I still think 70 Munitions for 2 Thompsons for CavRifles is a bit overpriced, 60 should be more reasonable, not sure why they made 45 for 2 compared to Rangers/Paratroopers cost 70. |
Allied factions incur no cost when losing models...
I feel this only applies to Volksgrenadiers due to their lower cost, regarding construction, upkeep and reinforcements, but that's about it.
4 dead rifles vs 3 dead grens is 112 MP vs 90 MP, support weapons bleed less than actual fighting units too, your struggle as the wehrmacht must be fault of the thing behind the wheel and not the faction. Wehr is in really good spot right now. |
