I would like to nerf its HP to 320 and keep the rest stats unchanged, so Axis can use medium tanks to counter it. It already has better max speed, acceleration and armour than most indirect fire units.
I think it's more "a price increase to bridge the gap of performance to cost because relic loathes the maxim and will NOT have it doing anything but deathlooping into 5 free fuel"
For different factions, units which have similar price do have different performance, for example, Ostwind and Centaur, Assault Grenadiers and Assault Engineers.
I can't believe so many people think command Tiger is a good idea. For balance reason this unit should take 26~30 pop cap. And player need at least 20 pop cap units (one ATG, one for snare and one for sight maybe?) to support command Tiger. As a result, a command Tiger will make player's troops extremely immobile.
No one will use command Tiger in 1V1, but it will be extremely popular in 3V3 or 4V4.
Edit: i just realized Schwererpanzer HQ supported by paks and tellers will be the biggest cancer this game witnessed in few years
I can't understand why you think this combination will be a game changing one. Allies can still use the same strategy -- indirect fire to take out Schwererpanzer HQ.
On USF Doc:
Do USF need another doc which focuses on urban map? I think Armor Doc is perfect for urban map. I think USF need some late game options (Pershing?).
On Wehrmacht Doc:
Reworking Assault Grenadiers is a urgent topic. They start with horrible RA (1.0) as CQC units, and they do not receive any bonus on RA until vet3.
JLI advancing across open ground into pathfinders who have also purchased a side tech upgrade to fight in CQC at point blank*
Man, please read Loren's post. Loren created this scenario to prove JLI could beat Pathfinder in close range, I recreated his scenario to prove that his test samples are not large enough.
The funny fact is that JLI can actually defeat Pathfinders with BAR upgrades in almost any distance and situation.
The following video covers four different cases;
1. JLI hugging into 1BAR Pathfinder with light cover
2. JLI with light cover vs. 2BAR Pathfinder with heavy cover at Long range,
3. 3vet JLI hugging into 1 BAR 3vet Pathfinder with Heavy cover
4. 2BAR 3vet Pathfinder and 3vet JLI CQC Situation
Most situations are very ideally bad for JLI, but JLI defeats pathfinders very well.
JLI is obviously a long-range combat specialist, but even good enough at assuming a hugging situation using like CQC specialists.
.
No offense, but you really should run your tests multiple times. JLI beat Pathfinder in close range is very rare. According to my 10 times' test, Pathfinder won 10 times.
