Well, by looking at stats, yeah the KT is not just an AI vehicle.
But functionally, you know, from game experience it serves heavily in its AI role. Or rather, I should say it is most effectively used in an AI role for all practical purposes.
A single t34/76 can kill a KT without taking damage if there's the room for it to circle strafe. I've (mostly) done it before. (Baited it onto a mine first.) For that reason the KT doesn't exactly excel in an AT role, which you wouldn't really be able to surmise just from its stats. well your KT was not vet 3 if it was it would have been impossible to circle strafe |
KT is cost effective only at vet 3 with spear head so I would just suggest to reduce vet 3 requirements |

Actually, if we establish, that Pershing is probably not a good tank for 4 vs 4, this leads us to a conclusion, that USF is probably not a good faction for 4 vs 4 unless playing a support role. Pershing was initially meant to be a spearhead with more armor, a USF damage sponge. If not Pershing, then what would help the USF late game? One might say: "Jackson's sight (although still being in discussion ), M10 spam umm... that's it? In terms of tanks, there is not much we can do about German lates.
Also if we take into account that JTs are not meant for 1 vs 1 - that's true. But then again Germans have other vehicles like KTs or even non-doctrinal Panthers which are pretty much on equal terms with the Pershing. What I'm saying is that there are alternatives.
Again. I am not trying to whine GERMANS OP PLZ NERF. I am just saying that as it is now USF is troublesome in late game. I always come back to the game after a bitter defeat but after a super long game when I get rolled over by German armor with little chances of pushing them back, I tend to get a bit frustrated

Double to triple penals into double guards into double heavy mortar into double to triple T34-85. It is important to get healing either after your first or second guard squad and that you try to steal an at gun or a mg.
Ostheer has nothing on this strat on 90% of the maps. OKW can pose more of a threat, but a swift m3 after your second penal followed by a flamethrower penal inside this m3 will destroy OKW.
You don't even need maxims with this strat lol.

Btw I would suggest 1 mortar cause the 10 pop cap it's really too much 20 pop cap for 2 mortar I much rather get another t34/85 |
1st. It wasn't a bug on the tank, it was a commander ability.
2nd. the bug made the unit better, not worst.

Also, smoke bugs seems to be common, all mortars have a bug when smoking too.

I think this is a perfect strat for all mode I tested it with 30/40 game total:
Pick motor guard
get tier 1
Build 2/3 penal
(1 sniper if you want)
Healing/medic
Tier 3
Call in 1 120 ml
Call in 1/2 guard and get dp28
(1 su76 if in need of at fast)
Get tier 4
Spam t34/85
The final army should be something like this
1CE, 3 penal, 1stolen at gun/ 1 guard ,1 120 ml , (a stolen mg42 the dream),3/4/5 t34/85
You should have enough ammunition to spam the repair tank ability (if possible use it on all tank at the same time cause it halve your munitions income) and use mark target on priority tank (tiger ,flanked panther )
Always flank with t34 they have 100% on rear on all tank
Penal vet 3 should beat all but ober but if you stole a lmg (from sp28 to mg34) they should win |
If we can consider the TA triple tap (when it had TWP) trick, it might count. There has been some bugs with blitz but i don't think they were beneficial.
Anyway, if someone wants to have a slight hope of this been fixed, it should be posted on the official forums. #RipCuddletronic
