Thread: Problem login in into the Alpha forums?5 Mar 2016, 15:31 PM Heh, that title. Uhm so yeah, it's telling me that my password is incorrect and that I don't have permission on my other account, any idea on why that is? I've also made a new account since I don't really know what to do, the Official forums are down, I can't message Relic on their facebook pages, posting on Steam forums probably also won't help and I know from the past UKF Alpha forums that they usually post the changelist and other important things there so I need to be able to have access to them. Since I just woke up and I saw the OKW HQ just sitting there destroyed for 5 minutes until I could change and come back to the computer. I'm not really expecting anything here since it's not how the game is meant to be played, I'm just trying to get the commanders without paying (since I've already probably paid for them a dozen times because of the CE edition of which I'm using none). I would play my own little mod but sadly nobody else does, everybody seems to be just playing All Units which isn't bad but I would prefer a more tactical mod rather than all units just put in game so you're playing just for the lolz or testing out units which are locked behind specific doctrines like the Jagdtiger, I always go for that when I'm OKW on All Units. Some times you get good things, sometimes you get bad things. The quantity also varies. Yeah I saw your post, I was just wondering since I don't really know how it works, it doesn't make sense to me that it would continue on farming after the 60 minutes are up, that's all. Oh and nice find btw, I'm hoping to get the Advanced Emplacements and maybe the US Heavy Cav commander, I also wanted the Calliope one as well as the Rifle Company but seeing as the Calliope was nerfed and to be honest I just prefer to have one Pershing and a few Ranger squads over some E8s, plus the other things in the company make it worthwhile for me, I enjoy making sandbag positions. Yeah, that's why we have the M1 81mm mortar here instead of the small range 60mm one which I also didn't like about the US but hey, at least it was mobile and faster to pack and unpack compared to the GrW 34. Also, the M1 81mm is a divisional level mortar unlike the M2 which is a platoon one so that may be the other reason for it. In: COH2 Gameplay

Pretty much every Army in CoH had all basic tools needed in some form or another, the Brits and PE were no exception to this, PE being a light vehicle based Army had an MG sort of Half-track while their mortar was mounted on a similar half-track, the Brits on the other hand had all out emplacements, but they all still had basic support weapons available to them in one way or another without this weirder "asymmetrical" bullshit gameplay people call it. I feel really weird right now as Brits having a mobile MG but not a mobile mortar, same goes for the OKW, having a doctrinal only MG and a pack howitzer as my only early-mid game indirect fire unit with no other forms of suppression until the arrival of the FlaK half-track which is under performing, at least to me, right now. It's just harder to balance and breaks more than it helps. Not to mention that all Armies had options to go out of their own little ways, for example the American Army was made to be an aggressive and mobile force, but they could still hunker down with the Infantry Company, the British could become more mobile and aggressive with the Commando Regiment, the PE could also dig in a bit more with the Luftwaffe Doctrine and the Wehrmacht also 2 Aggressive doctrines providing powerful units and one very defensive one as well, my only complaint as the US was not having the M5 76mm gun as an AT emplacement like the British 17 pounder to be honest as far as the Infantry Company went, something which Europe at War greatly improved and expanded upon.
