Thread: Another Squad-Ai Thread19 May 2018, 23:41 PM Honestly if it were me I would put down the hammer and tell Relic to let me finish my work properly instead of rushing all of the time, leading us to such bullshit. You guys should have put your feet down and let them know that they are at your mercy, not the other way around because quite frankly CoH2 is the only thing still keeping them in the game after DoW3 and I doubt many people have hope or will even consider getting AoE4 because of that, of course that is unless they're blinded fan boys that still play AoE2 religiously. That was mainly because that patch was albiet more controlled by Relic, with minimal interaction from the community. Second, distrust from the last squad-ai changes made this sound bad, even if it went unused. No, I mean the previous patch, the Summer-Winter one where the squad-AI was introduced. My question specifically is why what you posted in the OP wasn't tested and then implemented in that patch if it did the job. Unless of course it was just like you said with Relic calling the shots, then everything is obvious. In: COH2 Gameplay

Even the DBP one hadn't finished mutating when SBP hit. The SBP wouldn't be needed if only they had listened to the god damn community and made the necessary adjustments instead of announcing the SBP about a month ago with no preview or testing and then launching it now. The bug that comes with the game is Relic's fault for making this game so poorly put together, but just because some things cause occasional bugs does not mean they should be removed. This doesn't mean anything about anything. Doesn't it now? You have competitive people balancing the game. You have competitive people telling everyone to learn to play the game and they often make comparisons to the top players, of which are about 5-10% of this entire community not more. And lastly, I would say the biggest insult to the true loyal fanbase of this franchise, whatever good and logical suggestion is given by anybody, is shot down automatically by these same competitive people, be it because it's a change not "unique" enough or that simply it would do it's job normally but be over powered when used by the top players. Everybody seemed to try to convince me that it makes no sense to test patch before release. And here we are. Funny you mention that. Someone said that checking something is a higher form of trust or something like that a couple of days ago.
