getting enough of CoH 2 recently every match always getting gang up by pre-arranged team...
time to burried a good game and looking another title i guess
2v2 recently will be filled with amazing top-tier players practicing for UTT2. If you really can't handle being double-teamed, try 1v1 or take a break from CoH2 (like you said). |
It works for me, so I'm afraid you'll have to reinstall the game.
I will add this though: I agree with Crecer. The Soviet Campaign's story is not my favorite, and the archaic unit statistics will not help you if you want to transition into multiplayer (or even vs games AI). |
Hello there,
If you want to ask for someone to look at your replay to help you improve, please specify which player you are. It makes giving advice much easier. |
As you can see from the above, there is little point in getting G43s for Pzgrens unless you're desperate for Interrogation or something. For all distances except far, it is a net downgrade.
Moving accuracy of 0.8 vs 0.75 for G43 vs (stock) StG44s. Granted there is a possibly higher moving dps for G43s (if I've understood the burst + CD modifiers) but most fights will be static shoot-outs. Maybe someone else can figure out what the effective moving DPS are for the two, I've gone into enough detail as is for this post.
The high accuracy of G43s makes them more effctive against units in cover. Also, they become more powerful against units on retreat. Finally, IIRC the G43s increase PGren sight range.
StG44s on the move lose about half of their DPS. G43s on the other hand lose about 15%. |
I've been going Scavenge with OKW a lot even before the patch. I would go with 4 Volks, Battlegruppe, two JLI, Healing. With 7 combat-effective infantry units, you can push away even 5 IS.
Prioritize Scoped G43s over StG44s because even with StG44s Volks lose to Bolstered IS, while the scoped G43s are very strong against units in cover.
Skipping the Luchs-Puma combo is fine because your opponent often will go AEC anyway and waste fuel (because it's quite mediocre against infantry). Your Ostwind should hit the field 2-3 minutes earlier than the Cromwell. If your opponent decides to pick Royal Artillery, one Rak is usually enough.
If you don't want to play with JLI, leIGs are really strong against Brits, but you'll have to babysit them with HMGs. A pair of them rip apart Brits because they're still quite cover-reliant/static and really don't have any indirect fire of their own.
EDIT: 1v1 perspective |
If you put the replay here, send it to Relic directly.
Also, the necro is real. |
With the Scout Car, you need to maximize its window of effectiveness. Get it as soon as possible (e.g. when you hit 15 fuel). This is even more important because in team games, tech comes sooner.
It can cause decent bleed with its machine guns. Keep it at maximum range (kite with it).
Typically, the Scout Car is only viable for the first 5 to 10 minutes of the game, so don't expect it to last until mid game. In fact, becuase it doesn't scale at all (and the Recon role is taken by the T-70), I would just trade it. |
Next time, please do not post cheating accusations in the forum.
Simply upload the replay with the title "For Sturmpanther", with the description providing details about the evidence you collected to support your claim.
As this issue seems to have been resolved, I am locking this thread. |
Side note: Does anyone know how to create the simplified minimaps most maps use in the selection screen?
Perhaps this guide can help. You will need Photoshop (or an equivalent picture editing software), however.

I have a 5700 XT I’d say it would be a very nice card if I didn’t have such issues with drivers the first few months. Personally won’t be buying AMD again but for its price I gotta admit it is very nice
I heard of those driver issues, pretty horrendous stuff. Thankfully I waited out the storm
AMD's stuff has always been about price performance. However, if NVIDIA's DLSS 2.0 takes off, I don't see AMD being competitive anytime soon. |
