I really dont know why Relic changed that from Coh1, it was really simple in coh1, you get a building in your area, you turn it into a fhq, you lose the area the enemy decaps the fhq, you win the area again, you turn it again into a fhq, really simple. Only i see these days is people abusing the fact that they can turn every building into a fhq no matter if they are in friendly territory or not, or reinforcing no matter if they are connected or not
yeh it FORCES OKW players into stuka rush and Ostheer into quick 251 flamer (and there you must pray that you dont run into a baby AT-gun or PTRS penals), otherwise it is kinda auto-win for allies.
And that is a huge advantage for the allies cos then, the teammates of the soviet player have a kinda free path to rush medium tanks
One of the reasons of why frp are getting nerfed is to avoid this agressive plays that can seal the game in the early game, if the enemy loses the battle and doesnt have the control of the area anymore and cant defend it there is no reason for the fhq to keep being a fhq, what happens when u lose the control of the are with your frp like the battlegroup or the british one? It gets destroyed, they are easy to destroy when unprotected, in the replay provided you can see that the key building like the train station in the middle of ettelbruck is taken in the early mins of the game and turned into a fhq, not only is hard to kill it no matter if you have time to do it but denies the posibility of the enemy and allies to use it. I agree with that cement buildings need to be a little bit weak because they have a big inpact on the game too. But there is no reason really to keep discusing this, this isnt in the scope Maybe in the future
Dont forget to fix this one too, it needs to be like the coh1 forward hq, it needs to be capable and it shouldnt be able to convert a building into a fhq if it is in enemy or disconected territory
tbh I think they just need to nerf the aura bonus and tone down the health of cement buildings a little bit.
Cos the problem of soviet FHQs is not that you can't get rid of them without flamers once you pushed the enemy back. The problem is that a good enemy wont let you get near to it due to the insane aura buff + big cement buildings are too resistent vs indirect fire.
If you are saying that in team games the mortar pit is weak, then i can't really comment as i'm not a team game player. In 1v1 still seems broken and to be honest the fact the brit play can now get it as soon as 240mp makes in more accessible.

Because its a build-able garrison that only brits can get in. That means there is no counter play over who controls it. If you throw a nade and the brit squad gets out, you cannot get in (like with houses) meaning they can, at leisure, get back into the trench. In this replay you see that Donnie build 2 trenches next to each other, when i throw a flame nade at one he simply got in this other. So i would need 2 volks grens to throw 2 flame nades to have a chance of winning the fight.
With the mortar pit in support you cant stay still. The Mortar pit also helps counter any attempt to force them out using indirect fire.
The trenches are also VERY difficult to destroy and you can spawn commando's out of them... Insult to injury.
+1 that Brit trenches need their password protection against other factions removed
But they should keep their 50mp (or reduced to 25mp) investment because unlike other trenches, the brit trench can also be built in neutral or enemy territory

I write that if you so care about this bug, why you dont create thread about this bug, where plaers can support you idea to fix this bug, i just dont see it and all i see that some get buthurt play vs this bug and nothing more, no moves to fix bugs.
LUL thay cannot fix this bug, so thay will be ban players coz thay cannot fix own bug hahaha. Really relic deserve to be closed and there programmers deserve to work on plantations.
All players who begin talks with relic lose reality and can not objectively criticize relic, its like sports journalists make friendship with football players, its bad for game and relic.
I think you are really missing the point here. There is no "fix this bug pls" thread simply because Relic knows about this bug already! They just don't know how to fix it yet. But I'm happy we got your game developer expertise, seems like you know the best how easy it is to fix any kind of bug
And yes the reason because the report has been made just now is "maybe" the fact that it literally just happened?? I report any individual I meet who abuses this bug (even if the abuser is my teammate), there hasn't been any previous report from me because that was the first time I saw someone abusing it in a match I took part in.
Tho I really don't know what that has to do with "Relic-friendship" and how you came up with that BS
