I'm not gonna comment on the pioneers, but Obers perform at the level of 10 population, definitely, if you consider that mainline infantry is 7. And regarding shock troops, it's not about the amount of men in a squad, it's about performance. Otherwise, shouldn't you be complaining that conscripts and grenadiers cost the same, too? Regardless of squad number, I do agree that 8 pop for shocks are too low. 9 would be ideal. |
How many times did you try it? Easy Eight won vs OKW P4 easily +80% of the time in my tests.
Admittedly only about 10 times since I was farming war spoils. Max range, ez8 kept bouncing which negated the extra hp it had. 6 times it died. |
Why do people say the '85 and ez8 are better than OKW p4 anyway? Test it in the cheat mod, OKW p4 will beat them the majority of the time. The armor is OP. |
The huge armor values on the OKW p4 should not be underestimated, I think. That is what you're paying for. |
Between having a facade and not having a facade, I'd prefer the latter. Now that we don't have to innately calculate fuel opportunity costs for OKW, things can be a little more clear cut. Personally, I think the fuel changes were good, and definitely needed IF teching costs stayed the same. It's one or the other, and I guess Relic chose. The only problem is KT is still not locked behind CP, so it'll only be delayed by 1-2 minutes in team games. |

All things aside, SU-85 is the #1 obvious solution for a buff. While farming war spoils, I pitted a vet 3 SU-85 (yes, with its monster fire rate) against a vet 0 JP IV and the SU-85 lost more times than it won. It's very pathetic and nothing can excuse that since it was already vet 3. Vet 0 is just a billion times worse. Also, 2 vet 3 SU-85s will almost always lose to a single vet 0 KT. Its ability to repel heavy tanks is also a joke. I'm just very upset and frustrated at this piece of shit vehicle in general. |

So has anyone tried the KV-2 since they buffed the HP from 800 to 1080 and switched out soviet industry? I personally have been toying around with it for funsies and I've never noticed how fast the velocity of its shells were. Coming as someone who came around only after the initial nerf to the commander, I've only played with the KV-2 a couple of times a long, long time ago, and I remember misses, lots of misses, from the slow shells. In siege mode it still misses a ton, but it's surprisingly accurate when it's mobile. It's a real squad wiping machine, and with 300 or so damage to boot, a relic of a time when tanks did more than the standard 160 I guess. Although it's fire rate is horrendously slow, I feel like if the commander catches on, it could case some real rage.
What are your guys' thoughts on the KV-2? |
Relic already wrote in another thread, that this is a bug and will be fixed.
Why the fuck do people keep repeating this lie? I've read the relic responses, the only post by Relic is Brad saying "Unit values were rounded up! It was in the 'bugs fixed' list!"
