King Tiger can't rush tank traps. There isn't really a "heavy crush" in CoH2.
Get your facts straight next time, please, it's hard to take you seriously when you half-heartedly make claims that have high chance of originating out of your ass.
You can start by listing what USF vehicles have in terms of crush level, in comparison with Axis units. The last thing this game needs is more bloat that someone came up with entirely through conjecture.
if you have a better idea/suggestions on how to improve USF overall im all ears and dont say they are fine where they are or any other sarcastic lame-ass excuse cuz you and i both know they aint |
Panzer IV, even with vet and blitz doesn't gain heavy crush.
thats odd i could have sworn in CoH1 it had it oh well probably a good thing |
The Ostwind should have been a Wirbelwind, only because the Möbelwagen would need a set-up and tear-down time, which doesn't fit the role of a mobile anti-infantry weapon. Rather, it would be temporary static-defense.
251/17 should have been the 251/21 Drilling, but Drilling didn't need to 'setup' because it had fixed panels, so the unit would function more like the Soviet Quad, which may have been too similar.
The Sturmtiger gets a pass solely because there is nothing else like it that could take on the function it has in-game, but I still think it's a silly unit and hard to balance.
I have similar feelings about the Jagdtiger, would have preferred a Jagdpanther instead.
if they are in there then the M26 should be in there too its no fair that the axis get all cool looking hard hitting toys while the USF is given short-end-of-the-stick, hand-me-down hardware |
We all want native langage option. People who know English, German and Russian will be happy.
tahts why we gotta keep yelling at relic to do it and they'll have to cave in well after september 3 that is |
Would be nice. Paying munitions or something for a sherman having crush to roll through most obstacles cant be bad.
i remember relic saying USF has to flank in order to be effective funny that axis have non-doc units like the panther or panzer IV with armor upgrades (veterancy) can go thru dense foliage and thick shrubbery while the sherman cannot? |
Firefly and Comet are going to walk over axis non doctrinal armor supremacy, axis players are terrified by the thought of fighting against panther tier tank and another tank destroyer that doesn't constantly bounce off them
Even if brits would release in underpowered state, whining about comets will last until the sun goes dark.
thats good allies finally get weapons that can punch some REAL nasty holes in the axis more-bang-for-their-buck tanks. up until now axis have been hogging and hoarding all of the best AT, armor and infantry in-game. having the brits now will hopefully level the playing field |
Someone has to have the better tanks. And why would we twist history and give it to the British? Just because the 17 pounder shall be a special snowflake?
more people are playing axis more than allies at the moment you ought to look at the search rate percentages. in my time playing against human opponents minimum was around 70% and with the July 21 patch they seem more easy and fun to play. no intense micro involved |
Which is total bullshit. Yes the 17 pounder is a strong gun. Yet the Panthers gun is comparable. Yet the Comet is less armored than a Panzer IV. The Panther should make mince meat out of that thing. Stop it with your "everything should beat German armor".
really i disagree. the allies deserve to have some kind of tank that can face the superior axis armor on even terms. whether you admit it or not axis still hog and hoard all of the best AT, armor and infantry in-game |
Firefly is good for finishing tanks or to heavily burst most dangerous target and make it leave combat. I already can see mark target+firefly rockets and normal shots as a very dangerous combo even against heaviest axis tanks. Firefly just not regular td, and not supposed to fight enemy armor head on. You need support.
lol with infantry and armor (cromwell and comet tanks) of course |
....
It did 240 damage, but it can still bounce as it had pen like every other TD, and could always miss. Was fun going against heavy armor and bouncing and waiting half a minute to do damage. Then you could spend munitions to upgrade tulips and spend 100 muni to either miss, not-penetrate, or hit a tank and deal 320 damage...
At the beginning, the Firefly was retardedly broken. It should be nothing too special upon release.
Just build comets and win, much simpler, especially since brit armor can upgrade to practically self spot...#NDAquestioningifthisstillexists
yea but axis dont have to worry about RNG as much as the allies do because their guns will penetrate almost every time while allies is pretty much crossing your fingers and praying the shell will hit and do damage |
