Make mechanized truck a more appealing choice and you will see aggressive OKW early game.
It's just much safer to turtle behind a med truck, get a few leigs/mg34s/more volks or obers, hold a VP; and just take it slow and steady as you get your units to vet 5 and win the game that way. |
OKW has no chance against Brits.
You actually have 5-15 minutes to close the gap before the comet/churchills come in force. But yeah, if you let it get to the late game; the fuel UKF gets compared to OKW along with really nice tanks will kill you in the end. |

Hahahah wonderful this. I made 2 threads about OKW sucking, everyone knows they suck, yet we can't discuss it in more than one thread. When USF sucked balls we could make 20000000 threads and it was all fine.
This forum is more biased than Western Media
When your salt levels are this high; I recommend going to a twitch stream for COH 2, and just venting out your frustrations in chat. Worked for me whenever I needed it too.
Also, take a break from COH 2. Game can turn into a very frustrating mess sometimes so I can understand why you feel this way. |

This map isn't really that big of a great pick for scavenge personally. Fortifications looks better here with mg34s covering the sides. I know they aren't great but their AOE suppression can stop blobs in their tracks. The problem is moving up after you secured your cutoff/fuel.
But that's me personally. What's your build order when you go against USF on maps like these? |
yeah tried that, got totally annihilated and he just moved his blob to the truck everytime, eventually captain came along and he naded my squads so had to hard retreat. Bye bye med truck.
He did this in the same game? Because it looks like he went LT first, and a Captain comes pretty late if he wants to rush an m20/mg/m15 AA from the LT tier. |
Oh yes, he did blob, but look at the second picture, he had another 2 riflemen on the eastern flank moving up. Yes that is right, 2 more rifle squads
Should mean he had little means of AT then I guess. I feel like putting your battle group(med truck) in your base on this map of all places is a bad idea. Better to put it near your cutoff and keep reinforcing as a USF player sends rifle squads after rifle squads meaninglessly in order to harass you there.
But in bloberino games, it's all about who blobs better that wins honestly. |
The way to fight USF blobs is to develop PaulAD skills and use counter blob tactics in order to defeat them.
You need a special criteria of skills defeating the USF flamer/bar rifle blobs but with a walking stuka, some mg34s, or well timed infiltration nades. You can do it.
Now if they aren't blobbing. Well, that's even scarier so good luck with that. |
