Honestly i like the new coh3. I know there are some things that need improvement such as pathfinding or new maps, but I can't imagine going back to coh2 where the faction design has never been fixed. (Commanders seal holes especially on alied side).
Those who whine today will surely come back when relic improves coh3. |
Do not forget about giving Axis superior artillery once again, one of prime things that always made coh2 unbalanced in team games.
Main reason why i dont want back to coh2 teamgames. Alies (ukf,usf) always forced to pick commanders with Arty meantime stuka zu fuss ready to rape you around cp3-4. |
T1 upgrade to unlock le IG 18 or flak 28 cost 45 fuel, it's too much.
Leig 18 is extremely strong especially in teamgames so i guess price is ok |

I actually like how performs nebelwerfer its ok against bunkers and teamweapons but not that good against blobs. Against blobs Wermacht have brumbars. I think this way is more healthy for teamgames. |

I dont get it why usf again dont have any non doc Arty options. At least relic could buff M3/75 range or usf will be dead in teamgames. |
I haven't seen anyone bring it up yet, but IMO the most broken thing currently is the Wehr luftwaffe doctrine. You can drop fallschrimpioneers at the start of the match, to get better positioning. All well and good. But then those pios can build the 2cm flak emplacement immediately, which not only has insane range, but kills light vehicles (including light tanks), murders infantry, and is almost literally impossible to destroy. Dealing damage to it only decrews it, dealing no damage to the emplacement itself. If the enemy has a nearby halftrack or squad (spoiler, they always will), they can recrew the emplacement and keep it at full health.
One of these emplacements can basically shut down an entire section of the map for long enough to rush out a fast P4 or Wirbelwind. In 1v1 its not such an issue since you can go around and go for cutoffs, but on 2v2s and up, this emplacement literally wins games for free. The only counter is to win the opening engagement hard enough that the wehr player cant build one, then keep them off key points until you have tanks so they are not a big issue. + |
Just embrace your role as Calliope platform and have you teammates cover USF's other weaknesses
