The fuel cost for all OKW vehicles that scale into lategame (KT, JT, JP4, P5, P4, Stuka on foot) should have been increased by either 50% and/or raising their pop-cap. KT + JT is ridiculous with just 40 pop (2 heavies, wtf). Double Stuka blows the pudding out of every allied faction (especially soviets who rely on combined arms and yes, i'm aware that a fuel increase for the stuka is stupid for 1v1, hence pop cap increase) while double JP4s nullify any USF armor play (camo still not fixed).
Those changes might soften the OKW supremacy but they will keep OKW on top for a long time because of the "we just nerfed it" logic. |
Also, somewhat unrelated but can the 105 Light Howie barrage for Wehr be renamed to 82 mm mortar strike? It certainly is not calling in 105 shells.

You don't have to be an elitist to realize that team games are practically unbalance able. It's stupid to even try. Short having 2 different clients for 1v1 and for team games - which is a stupid idea.
Play some 1s and you'll understand.

Panther stress mobility firepower and armor.
P4 have better range faster RoF . Its less risky option - you wont probably move with it too much. It have smaller hit box (so it will eat less shots).
And also comes sooner.
I think it depends on oponent.
Medium tank spam - go panther with shrecks
Meatshield (churchill)/ heavy tanks go jp4 and p4 for harrass.
I think Jp4 have still it uses for example again churchills , kv8 , su85 , jacson , is2 , pershing ...

First of all, the faction that is played most will always have the highest win rate in 3vs3+, because of the better elo the team then usually gets. The same we have seen after brits we released. OKW just got a revamp, it's just natural that all players want to try it out and even play the new commander, hence it's the most played faction right now.
HOWEVER
That doesn't mean OKW isn't too strong right now, the main issue hereby is the popcap that snowballs too strong in team games.
When armies are maxed out, OKW will have a massive advantage, due the fact they can have more units with their 100 popcap, so you will face more troops than you can field as an allie against OKW. Especially when you see how absurd some popcap is, shocks being 12 popcap, bolstered sections being 10, while Obers are 8 (just like Grens ).
It also means a massive advantage over the course of the whole game, as the lower you popcap is the higher your MP income is. You can easily afford all massive MP investments and never really have to save up for it, all other factions have to carefully think which upgrade and which units they have to buy in order to keep a good MP economy over the whole game.
This whole popcap issue deserves a hotfix. Right now it gives and massive advantage and overshines issues that might come from units cost wise & teching wise.
So it's the Pop-cap and not the 14min Panther, followed by a double stuka or KT? ... and not the ridiculous Volks spam at the beginning of each game?
