I think it's a fine idea, I've been lazy about helping beginners to the game since I started some group for this kind of thing, but here you are making this thread. Good to see people interested, and looking at who has signed up I don't think I have the skill required to be a mentor, but I'd happily help out in formulating some things with you Rush.
Hey man thank you so much for your offer, i did not start this thread to help myself only, but also anyone else having problems getting better at this game.
Even though it's awesome having so many top players interested in helping out others , it's actually sad that no one so far came up and acknowledged they needed help , we have much more mentors than mentees .

I had no idea so many top player were actually very open to helping others, and not just an elitest bunch.

• Steam name/id:
• Role: Mentor or Mentee:mentor ofc
• Time zone:
• The type of help offered (1v1 training instructor, replay analysis…)
• Any other request?
if anyone is interested in getting help from you ill try and set u guys up.
thanks again sib for the help , i appreciate it |
I would love to help but I am hardly no pro at all and I don't have much time.
But IMO I think that guys like Sib or VonIvan would do that kind of stuff on stream.
like i said in my post it does not have to be a very time consuming thing ,imo anyone can help in some way , it's just that a lot of players need simple tips and advice and they have know idea who to ask.
the point is to actually promote this kinda interaction among different classes of players.
thanks again |
That is somehow a bit like Pokémon.
Which in fact is a good thing.
The idea is very good and fun as well, too bad no one is taking it seriously enough to offer any help or whatsoever .
Thanks for the comment anw |
You know what ?
Why not make a really fun thing about this.
"This is the Voice" system
People choose their mentor, and after 1 week or more, we make a battle : D
And after 1-2 weeks of training, we make a little tourney on twitch Kappa
Hahahah, that is actually a good idea , seriously.
thanks |
Hello guys!
I know this topic has been discussed/suggested multiple times before but I did it, but I thought I'd give it a go anyway.
I play CoH2 for almost a year now and I have to say this game is absolutely amazing even with all its frustrating parts.
As many of you may have noticed the player base is growing steadily. However the average quality of players is in decline and in my opinion that's because CoH2 demands a high level of tactical thinking and game awareness.
For this reason i am trying to start some sort of mentoring program where players can sharpen their skills, pass on their ideas and help others.
I know it's hard to ask the community for any more help especially since CoH2 as a game is hardly rewarding for top players (no official tourney or in game ladders) or for streamers, but it's the only place to go for help.
Mentoring does not have to be time consuming it can be this casual and recurring activity where one player helps another with certain aspects of the game and so on.
Any new player looking for advice can provide a link to their replay. A dedicated mentor could be assigned to an individual and would then be responsible for responding to that post, giving the person some pointers. Additionally, any other mentors/experienced players could also respond with further feedback.
That way other new guys could download the replay and learn from the constructive criticisms as well.
For anyone who would like to take part in this program please enter the details below:
• Steam name/id:
• Role: Mentor or Mentee
• Time zone:
• The type of help offered (1v1 training instructor, replay analysis…)
• Any other request?
Thank you all for reading.
Please GIVE YOUR OPINIONS about the matter, even if u can't help out.
