A salute is deserved here if ever there was one needed. A good officer and an even greater tactician has passed. It's a shame we don't see more respect towards more of these men of courage and honour.



@Bloodnok...Australians actually did serve as ground troops in WWII just not notably as front line troops. My great grandfather for instance served 1939–1944 for The Royal Australian Engineers in Europe, though I'm not sure of his exact position. sorry even more off topic. He also saw front line action in WWI 1914-1918 for the 24th Australian Infantry Battalion, so proud of him he's my hero!

If I remember right your going to be running it on a motherboard with SATAII ports. So your probably better off going for the Crucial as its cheaper and you'll never really get either of them up to they're maximum capabilities on SATAII so no need to spend the extra money.

SATAII average max read/write speeds are about 280MB/s. there are obviously variations in this though.

(2-4) Duclair

Today welcomes the return of Duclair, one of OnkelSam's most successful maps from CoH1, a well balanced map and a favourite of many Company of Heroes veterans. Though originally a fantastic map a small list of changes had to be made when porting it over to CoH2. All outdated models have been updated, slight changes have been made to the atmoshpere, the territories have had a large overhaul to fit CoH2's capture system and resource changes. The rest of the map I have tried to keep as original as possible so as not to tarnish its originality. Though I am welcome to all suggestions for improvements.



The layout itself remains the same as the original, though I have made minor changes to the amount of territories and the locations of resources. The fuel points are pushed to the exterior corners of the map and the munitions have been placed near the central VP to allow for some good tactical maneuvers. Flanking is a big thing on Duclair as it is almost impossible to hold such a wide frontline, even between two players there is a lot of territory to cover.

I'm pretty sure to achieve that you need to follow the steps required to make an Infantry only map but make the necessary changes to the SCAR and then add the names of the ATG's and mortars instead of the vehicles.

I haven't brought the game yet and have been a little too busy to get around to it yet but from watching some game play footage on a few different streams my opinion of if is a little meh.

I don't mind the sci fi genre but a lot of the points being made here about blandness and blobbing make me think of the CoH2 current meta but sci fi its seems some people are seeing it the same way.

I'll probably get it anyway if a few friends get it but I'm going to hold off to see who i know that is actually going to play it.
