The matchmaking in COH 2 is hilariously bad. I love how whenever I play Whermacht, I could be making caches, making bunkers, have a small amount of units and then at the end of the game I get like 100-200 kills while my chinese team mates will have like 20 kills with OKW.
Like what the hell were they doing the entire match when my Pioneer squad has more kills than their entire army. Like a good 75% of the OKW population is retarded AF, especially when they build their base on the front lines in the worst possible locations possible like right near a VP in the open then rage when their base is destroyed.

If there will be option to disable this idiotic debris flying left and right, then its actually more or less bearable.
Also, unit being damaged by building collapsing is imo fine, its not nesesery but not a day changer. You would just look for buildings which nearly destroyed, but visually it should be a problem to see that building is about to collapse. On the other hand, if there is say a church with a huge tower (like in trailer) and you can make tower collapse just by dealing enough damage directly to it, then it might be a problem, because huge buildings will most likely damage units in larger areas. But if its a small radius around the building it should be fine.
If that's the case then I guess it would make camping near buildings and spamming mgs on every angle of the area actually a bad choice so I would not have a problem with debris flying left and right damaging units. |

- MEDIC HQ CANNOT BE DIRECTLY USED TO BECOME A RALLY POINT. First you need to build it, then you need to upgrade it, then you need to build a second building AND ONLY THEN can you pay 250mp to upgrade it to rally point. What does that entail in practice? YOU WILL NEED TO SOFT HOLD YOUR AREA OF BATTLEGROUP SUPPORT HQ AMID MORTAR SHOTS, BLOB RUSHES ETC IN ORDER TO EVEN HAVE A CHANCE TO BUILD IT. Is it worth it? NO. BUILD HEAL TRUCK IN YOUR BASE.
- When you come across an enemy's MG and you attack it with infantry only, really what do you think will happen? Will you win? I doubt it. USE MORTARS(LEIG).
- A volks blob can be taken down very easily against SOV and USF. Stop it.
- Raketens are way more useful than you think. Sometimes your opponent's only power spike is a shitty LV like T70, UC, etc. Build raketenwerfer quickly.
- If you cannot micro a P4J like you should, better stall for kt.
- If you cannot micro a tank in general, better build 2-3 raks and use StukaZusFauss for anti inf.
- Tanks (sadly) are not meant for breakthroughs. For every P4J you build your enemy has 2-3 snares and 1-2 ATGs. Park it behind your units and provide infantry support. Goes double if you have kongigstigger.
- Panzer commanders are broken. Use them.
- OKW cannot build caches. Guard your points, or use a converted 251 to farm some.

There were many super busted things, especially when something new was released. I can remember when snares would always give an engine crit regardless of the target's health (so you could never really push with tanks lol). Then they introduced these broken commanders, elite (which gave you the ability to make your Gren squad or mortar squad vet 3 with one click, or just boost your Pwerfer straight into vet 2 without having shot once; ah yes, and the Tiger Ace of course hehe). You also had Soviet Windustry, where your T70 would come at such a ridiculous timing (4 mins iirc), if you didn't get it with a lucky teller, the game was over lol.
As for the most busted unit in the history of CoH2? Well, that is debatable I guess. The old ISU that didn't need to switch ammunition and had self-spotting was probably the most busted thing we ever saw. Honorable mentions would be the old JT that would shoot through buildings (the only real counter to the ISU lol), basically everything when OKW or Brits came out (Volk schreck blobs, Obers with insta-lmg, Sections that were just as good without cover but unbeatable with cover, unkillable Churchills, unbeatable Comets, etc.). Sturmtiger in the last patch was also insanely busted and right now, it's probably the KT with spearhead and tank commander.
- You still cannot use mediums to push through lines since every meta right now seems to be spam ATGs and also the design choice to make mediums three shot die from a 340mp gun was arguable at best. At any rate, medium tanks in this version of coh2 I think are shit.
- Sturmtiger was never never never as op as people here claim to be. Sure it could wipe from fow, but let's be honest it was a one shot very expensive shitcan. It's just that 95% of people here blob their way to victory and since ST was a natural antiblobbing tool they cope.

Let's be honest. This is a bad decision. A dynamic campaign is not very interesting, it is a Skyrmish set and not a campaign. In alpha, I was terribly bored. You are making a campaign game that focuses on the people in this war. And a dynamic campaign is the worst choice to show it. CoH is not Starcraft, but here you should be equal to this game. And although I do not like StarCraft 2 as a strategy, but this is a masterpiece single player campaign - history, unique missions, cutscenes.

i use linux for work (after all, 80% of my work is latex which is primarily a unix utility) and for gaming i use windows sadly.
