Random AOE issues
Area of Effect weapons had accuracy and penetration fall off values that would make Area of Effect damage inconsistent. In the case with Mines, it sometimes wouldn’t do any damage when it obviously triggered.
Removed Accuracy and Penetration from AOE. Accuracy values have been changed to always hit and Penetration value have been changed to the same as the value of the weapon. There were a lot of issues that accuracy value and penetration values created with AOE. One of them being mines sometime doing no damage even when triggered. We raised AOE accuracy so it can no longer miss and Penetration to match the penetration value of the weapon.

Tank with pintle MG drives closer and your solution is broken as it uses both ballistic and small arms weapon, just like many other units.
The pintle MG actually do damage? Even so, I would count it as tank gun as well. |
I have one suggestion with British Brace ability. I think it would fix most of current emplacement problems.
Change Brace ability to toggle ability.
When Brace is ON:
30 seconds cooldown before turn OFF.
+ Reduce greatly explosive damage from artillery, mortar, tank gun.
- Weapon cannot fire
- Emplacement become vulnerable to small fire arm and infantry handheld. This vulnerable can be depicted as the same as OKW building when deploying.
When Brace is OFF:
30 seconds cooldown before turn ON.
+ Become current emplacement, which invulnerable to small fire arm.
+ Weapon can fire
- Emplacement become vulnerable to explosive damage.
In short, British player has to choose: defend against either explosive damage or small arm fire. If enemy can attack the emplacement with both types of weapon, then British player deserve to lose that emplacement.

Brit has very terrible early. All you can do is hold out until Centaur arrive.
At tier1, Mortar and Sniper wreck havoc in Brit line.
At tier2, fast 222 and pak will bleed Brit MP.
If Bren Carrier is used, then 222 simply out tech quickly. If not, then good luck with sniper harassing your troop all day. |
I rather see wehr mortar get a +5 range buff or damage buff vs building to counter mortar emplacement like coh1.
OKW in the other hand, destroy emplacement easily with LeiG. |

Yeah, I mostly face the same problem thats why it should be removed imo.
Not quite sure about this. The vision of strategic point allow defensive weapon like hmg and mortar to automatically fire when opponent try to capture it. HMG will take time to suppress, and mortar take time to arrive.
Defensive is also part of this game mechanic. The game is not a show about who can micro better, but it's battle where you can predict opponent movements or not. |
Shooting from LOS/outside of sight range >> reload on the move and turret, because you will always hit and eradicate what you're shooting at with no warning or time to react.
You can counter argument all you want, AVRE is avoidable, ST not and that makes ST superior.
And no, using ST is not hard at all. In fact, its easier then AVRE for the reasons above.
If it's axis unit, then it's OP, right?
ST require you to move the tank all the way back to reload unless you want to give enemy the vehicle itself. AVRE on the other hand can stay on the frontline, threatening enemy force even when ability is charging because the turret keep rotating. |
USA and UKF counters to early vehilce with armor stronger than kubel ?
221 stronger than Kubel? It cannot suppress, plus with m3 scout car armor, it can be killed by rifle behind cover.
USA and UKF does not have that much problem vs kubel, unless they blob and get suppressed in a bunch. |
My wishlist:
Add Sdkfz 221 to Wehrmacht Tier1 building, 240mp 20fuel, armor same as soviet m3.Excel at killing sniper and can kill bren with sufficient micro(as CoH1 PE Scout Car). Also has good sight for late game usefulness.
MP40 upgrade for volk after flak truck is deployed.
Partisan can steal half of resource of the sector back to its owner team, same as PE Vampire Halftrack except for single sector. Nerf its accuracy.
KV1 become soviet stock tank at tier4 for 410mp and 130 fuel. Replace KV1 in Counter Attack Tactic for KV2.
USF M2 60mm mortar at tier0. |
