Sorry I envisage a situation where you are Soviet on N Langreskaya (1v1) - your opponent is Ostheer (AssGrens) - or OKW - and goes for the quick cut-off. We are nowhere near to 4 Cons at this stage,and even if we are,it implies no Con uptech to AT nades,etc No issues? Sersly? Replay please. I don't play 1v1, but since most 2's are just little 1v1's anyway Iv never had an issue when spamming cons because you out class his Volks and Sturms lose to much DPS when you kill a model or two when they are rushing you. Kubel can be tricky when facing a good player, but I have found splitting up units helps immensily due to the Kubels horrible pathing/movement. If you slow down the supply HTs speed out of territory, you stop truck pushing without making a difference in the way the vehicle itself does its job (you aren't deploying it to an enemy/neutral sector). I don't understand why it needs such speed out of territory in the first place, can you please explain that to me. Not to mention setting infantry collision to zero may have unforeseen side effects like just phasing through infantry or being blocked by it (not sure how the stat works). If you set up on top of a infantry squad the squad will move because the building is different than the HT. Slowing it down out of territory sucks because I normally always keep my trucks right behind my front line forces (and out of home captured sectors) so when I do cap the area I can set up right away. This just makes it hard for you to get up to the front early game were everyone is still capping points. 10 seconds adjusting it's ability to collide with infantry fixes the entire problem with out nerfing OKW's early game ability to move HT's up to the front. If pushing is an issue then get rid of the pushing, don't just make it so if you catch a truck out of territory it's instantly dead because it moves like a turtle. Light vehicles in general being able to push is stupid (because it negates expensive AT for far to low a cost), but in this case it's just extra stupid. It can't crush buildings anymore, it can't crush infantry, just make it so it doesn't collide with infantry anymore and were set. The OKW truck would finally have no "combat" utility. Pick one off while they advance to close range and you're set. Also, 5mp cheaper a squad, and a free sturmpio unit to stand behind them and close in if the cons come swarming IIRC Volks don't surpass till they hit Vet 3, if you close to short/medium range with cons you will walk all over him. And Sturms early game are pretty fragile, just stay out of close range and if you kill 1-2 models he won't be able to take you on. Kubel also get's overwhelmed if you don't group your cons up to much. Have one run straight down the middle at it to draw fire and one strafe to the left or right. Oh reeely? 2 Volks teamed up, or Kubel/Volks (especially if either are are accompanied with Sturms...).that's one hell of a force. When ever I go 4 cons to start I never have an issue with OKW because your Cons are better and more numerous than his Volks, while most players don't have the micro to take you on using the kubel. And they have nothing to deal with Kubels and Sturms have very nice DPS It's called strafing to the left or right with more than one squad, kubel pathing is terrible, take advantage of it. About turn someone else had a turn. Contrary to popular belief OKW is piss easy to beat if you know how to counter stuff, but this is true of literally every faction in the game so go figure. It's about micro and proper counter play, If you play better than your OKW opponent you will beat him, that's it. Maybe i haven't received the memo, but has someone on this forum inherit nullist/cannonade spirit ? @Porygon how bad is it gonna be ? Gren/pio spam patch like ? Unless you add 150 fuel the price your not doing anything but giving OKW the biggest buff it's ever gotten. And you do know that Ostheer can't bloody even use the PIV anymore thanks to heavy call in meta + Jacksons right? So what exactly is the point of giving OKW a unit it will never, ever use. It would make it less OP. As Soviets or Ostheer you need to have call in commander. Because of this, very good, useful commanders won't be seen, becasue they don't have Tiger/IS call in. As OKW, you give a garden commanders. You can use all of them and you won't lose anything. If I want to use anti infatry doctrine as Soviets, Im losing IS2. If I want to use lefh doctrine I won't get a Tiger. As OKW you can go for whatever you want since you always have KT. Pak43+KT? Fucking broken. In 4v4 you can even go for Jadgtiger + KT. Even more fucking broken (but that happens only with ver, very long 4v4s). Putting KT in place of Pz4 in elite armor for example would change a lot. Now you have to decide if you want KT or Pak. KT or Jadgtiger. KT or... That's not OP, that's the way it should be. Let me put it in different angle. Image Ostheer with non doctrinal Pak43 + doctrinal Tiger Ace, Elephnat or Tiger. Or non doc B-4 + doctrinal IS2. If you had to pay teching costs to get those units then it would be more balanced I would be 100% in favor of them. It would make OKW a million times more OP and you would see KT doctrine commander everywhere because you just chopped 150 fuel of the price and made it far far easier to get. Like dude I know your trying to fix shit but this is just flying in the face of all logic, it's really really sad so see someone who whines about OKW wanting to give them the gift of call in meta spam KT's. Add KT to Elite armored doctrine and swap 2 P4 callins (similar to vCOh Panthers) with KT in the HQ building. lol 210 + 150 = 360. Yeah 360 fuel for two medium tanks that are worse than the Ostheer PIV. Christ dude this is getting cringe worthy. Teching isn't free. Flak canon is free. Can't have the flak cannon without the tech price. In: COH2 Gameplay
