- Remove 25% received accuracy of Oustruppen but raise the price slightly (apply this to all oustruppen regardless of doctrine)
- Make the bonus they get work in buildings and trenches
- Replace the conversion of fuel to munitions with a passive conversion of fuel to manpower (like 20% less fuel income but 33% more MP income)
- Make trench more durable and unable to be garrisoned by enemy troops but cost manpower
- Replace railway artillery with the Command Panther; which gives it's bonus's to infantry and tanks but only has 3 levels of veterancy and no mark target.
- Artillery Officer is fine as is.
This way the doctrine is more about supporting massed infantry rather than just being a gimmick doctrine were you spam railway at the end and forget Oustruppen exist because the fuel to muni conversion allows you to spam Shrek Pgrens and LMG grens.
Call in's have always been discounted. The one were you just called in 1 at a time it was 145 fuel for 1. Like now a T34/85 costs 5 less fuel an OKW PIV and only 5 more than an Ostheer PIV.
It would be nice to see Volks just get bumped up to 260 MP (adjusting pop cap and reinforce accordingly) and be made a mid ground between grens and Riflemen to give OKW some better early game while making it harder to spam them.
Lowering the cost of the OKW PIV to 125 fuel but increasing the popcap is a good idea, makes it so it takes up more space but isn't close to a Panther in price.
Tbh I'm just kinda at a loss of what to do with OKW atm, it's to anemic in 1's and 2's.
Considering the 85' just got bumped down to 130 fuel I'm just going to go ahead and say no thanks unless the fuel price for the OKW PIV dropped as well.
Coming into here and complaining about imbalance because there are too many Axis biased members of the comm who demanded it and then thinking demandig a allied biff will help is plain ridiculous.
Sorry bit you are about as biased as any Axis fanboy you are complaining about it seems
Ah, my apologies. It's just a built in reaction from months of people insisting OKW is the turtle faction
Playing defensively as OKW will lose you map control and your units when the artillery starts flying. OKW is about using your trucks to support aggressive play and flanking.
Ostheer is also actually a well designed faction which is more naturally easier to learn and play due to the simple teching and easy access to counters. It has a feel of escalation in power across the game rather than having huge spikes in power like the rest of the factions do.
