So after these 2 years we have not only the eastern front, but also 'murricans and brits. What I like in recent patch is that they removed that fighting-over-the-river video and replaced it with the armies' flag, but there is still much to be done.
Not counting the obvious things like the Stalingrad assault pic during the loading of main menu (replace it with Europe map?) or maybe adding western front themed buttons in online and skirmish menu, how about linking the ingame music to the selected army, like in menu? Map names are already not to be believed in, as we have US forces fighting in an industrial city which would be named Stalingrad if it had Soviets fighting in it. What I cannot stand is having western themed music while playing Soviets and, much more irritating, vice versa.

How big a radius are we talking about? As far as the vehicle can normally shoot?
I imagine it would be really irritating to plane users if they were not able to call in a strike because some invisible force they can't identify is preventing it from beyond the fog of war.
To clarify what I mean, let's say you can't currently see the AA unit, but its denial radius blocks your strike. What does your HUD look like? Do you get a highlighted area where you can't fire? (something that would reveal the AA unit to you) Do you just keep failing to call in the strike until you find a spot where you can?

Coh 2 is littered with nonsensical stat values like this. For example combat engineers have a rear armor value of 7.5

I think Relic did do something with eastern front unit chatter, at least with wehrmacht. I heared mg42 or pak's chatter ONCE and wasn't able to recreate it, but at least it's something. |
