You see, I checked the data base of course, but I'm not sure that that is his account.
its his account 100%
he doesn't speak english |
He s refering to your "To be fair jove and alastor are leagues above sully and the other guy skill wise."
The thing is that it's not like it's the first game Sully won vs them. His ladder rank shows that he is really really good not only with Pitt. I'm not saying he is the best or better than Jove but again somehow he got so high and i'm pretty sure it's not a luck.
So what you said was rude, so shame on you.
I was not trying to insult anyone. I respect you and sully a lot. I just said that this could theoretically be seen as a pride post because Jove Teams play leagues above Sully teams which I can say with a 100% certainty becaues I have played both countless times. And btw being worse than Jove doesn't mean you're not a good player. In my experience Jove+Noggano/Jove+Alastor are the best 2v2 teams out there. |
well GiaA , you are wrong about the second thing that you mention. maybe your information is not reliable. dont get me wrong all of this players are high skilled . sometimes you lose and sometimes you win , this is the game. if alastor and jove lost that game, what it means about them and the first thing that you mention? you should ask yourself.
I'm not sure what you're refering to. Genuine question: What are you talking about ?
|
But what is a pridepost? For me it is when players (not so high ranked) posting a replay who they beat top rank player.
So i this case its ofc not a pridepost
To be fair jove and alastor are leagues above sully and the other guy skill wise. No offense just stating facts. However imo there can't be "too many replays". More casting material is never a bad thing. What actually annoys me tho is that people NEVER upload losses so you always know who wins. |
I personally think that the MHT could use a different haircut. I mean it's stil not going ot be a 10 but I could definitely see it becoming a 4/10 or maybe even 5/10 after visiting a decent hairstylist. |
It's basically just a marketing slogan and has nothing to do with how CoH2 actually works. |
lol who actually believes that the reason coh2 is never gonna become an esport lies in the gameplay sector?
Some actual reasons:
1. There aren't enough competitive players. Because of that automatch doesn't offer a decent competitive training environment which leads to people not becoming better which in turn makes it impossible to aquire a decent competitive playerbase. There's also no one who wants to play custom matches people still prefer automatches over custom games for more effective training.
2. CoH2 has never been marketed as an Esport or even a multiplayer game. Most reviews I've read consider CoH2 a singleplayer game with the multiplayer as some sort of "arcadish" additional gimmick. The public perception of the CoH2 MP basically couldn't be further away from being an Esport.
etc etc

Guess what the NA cup timezone is problematic for europeans just like the EU cup timezone is problematic for Americans. I don't wanna question your intelligence but this should be easy to understand. |
Not really.
Go through ANY game forums, competitive or not, multi or single player.
In all of them you'll find considerably more people whining for imbalance or game being too hard, then actually asking how to beat the content or opponent doing something.
Mobas, RTS, MMOs, FPS, its NEVER about other player being better, but matchmaking being evil, noobs on team, imbalanced items/heroes/units/"abusive" strats, its NEVER about the player who actually starts the thread even considering that he might suck, not everything around him.
And no wonder, with popularity of MOBA genre, which makes sure matchmaking will always try to keep you as close to 50% w/l ratio as possible, you can AFK all game for 100 games, MOBAs matchmaking will make sure you'll get enough teams to carry you to at least 40% wins.
This is "everyone is a winner" thing transferred into the gaming, this is why multiplayer communities are full of rot and bile, because they do not accept that for every winner, there needs to be a loser and they can't and won't acknowledge the fact that more often then not, THEY are these losers.
Well even then it still doesnt have anything to do with my generation. It can probably be attributed to the fact that gaming is becoming more and more mainstream. And btw you can find the "sore loser" mentality in a lot people no matter how old they are. |
People of this generation would rather complain about balance than admit they're wrong because (in general) they're extremely entitled.
Heck, a lot of teachers in America these days are not allowed to fail a student even if they do ZERO work in class. It's ridiculous. When no one ever punishes you for screwing up, and everyone always tells you what a special snowflake you are - you tend to look at anything but yourself for a fault.
Shame really. I remember back in my AoE 3 and Wc3 and even Sc2 days people would lose to something, post a replay and ask for advice on how to improve. Now people just run to the forums to QQ imba and then proceed to ignore all reasonable advice given.
And I've never understood the fanboy mindset of only ever playing one faction or one side. You're only hurting yourself by being so close minded. And the forum warriors that so religiously defend their precious faction (we all know who they are) end up hurting the community in the long run.
That's my half-awake because I stayed up way too late last night watching the national championship and I really should be sleeping right now theory.
Oh come on ciez blaming a new generation of gamers is a little cheap
I think it's more because of the clientele that coh2 appears to attract. |
