I have read that this game has an anti-cheat system to detect third-party programs, so I am afraid it would detect autohotkey or macro usage and get me in trouble. Since the game doesn't have a feature to rebind hotkeys by default (which I find a little silly), I simply wanted to rebind the tactical map hotkey (numpad 0) to programmable buttons on my gaming mouse instead. The tactical map helps me incredibly in orchestrating plays, unit preservation, and map awareness, but it's on the other side of the keyboard when using grid hotkeys! Not unless you count relentless forum abuse as payment. That's not relevant. We're arguing about how valid criticism from casual coh2 players who never have worked on a patch is. What matters is the update's content and how it changes the gameplay experience of said people. It's not like the balance team creates something out of nothing. (eg a mod team, it's not justified to criticize them in the same way because they're creating new content which otherwise wouldn't exist at all) MrSmith et al are merely changing things, they could theoretically make the game worse. Which makes harsh but rational and non personal criticism totally fair. In: COH2 Bugs

It should be doing mediums and heavy with such ease. The answer to at should be "just don't use armour because that's the only way to make it not worthwhile" case mate TDs are also ineffective if the enemy doesn't use armour, the counters are the same but on top of that they are either slow, have a slow turret or no turret meaning they can be flanked or in the case of the OST you might find yourself outranged. They can be out played but to lose a Jackson you have to play poorly, not necessarily be out played. The Sherman has swappable shells. It could easily play the role of medium killer, but instead we have a TD who's literal only unique drawback is that it's a on the expensive side of TDs. One size fits all is bad design. Every single medium tank destroyer in the game is strong against all types of tanks except for ele and jt. How is this unique to the jackson ? In: COH2 Balance

And the age rating argument is ridiculous. The content of a game shouldn't justify obnoxious behaviour. Edit: Also why do video games have to be the only place where this is considered normal ?
