You are completely missing the point. The thing is always flanked. Driving in three T-34s is no art. Even with support you can drive in, destroy the Elefant and go out simply because it can´t escape. While doing so you might lose one T-34. Even if you lose two it payed off for you. And that versus an AT unit. Paks and Fausts can support it but hordes of mediums easily swarm that. Its cost was increased from 540/150 to 540/180. In that patch the KT was untouched (except getting reduced to 21 popcap from 26). Where were you back then to champion the equality of buffs and nerfs between armour of varied factions? I wrote about the combination of buffs + nerfs. When the Churchill was nerfed in October was the JP IV buffed, the Panther? Tank destroyers remained untouched. This patch we get the full combination of Firefly buffs, Medium buffs, Su-85 buffs and heavy nerfs. Figure out how that is going to synergize before getting angry. In: Lobby

The Tiger, Elefant, King Tiger etc. all got a nerf because heavies were supposed to be nerfed. Yet the IS-2 received a buff for its scatter to offset the nerf. Churchill, KVs, ISU didn´t receive any nerf. This is just a nerf to German vehicles. Not enough: Only the Allied tank destroyers received buffs. There is no reason at all to go for German armor but the Panzer IV and StuG. Tiger and panther are lackluster. If you don´t see how a super slow, super expensive and easy to penetrate Elefant is a bad idea, we have nothing to discuss. I suggest you play Germans for once and see how they struggle lategame versus Brits already. Germans with the disadvantage in tanks is just utterly ridiculous. In: Lobby

Though I did lose a Tiger to T-34 spam in a situation where I shouldn´t have lost the Tiger. Keeping the frontal armor at the T-34s and driving backwards and having a Pak behind. The Pak was killed almost instantly by the coax MGs + shots and the Tiger simply couldn´t handle the T-34s which penetrated way too often. Guess I should try StuG spam. It is the usual mistake: Small nerfs to the Tiger (no deflection stun, less rear armor) + buffs to the things it fights (T-34 reload, SU-85 penetration, Firefly). One alone wouldn´t be bad. But combined it is a disaster. I didn´t like Tigers before. Now they are a liability. In: Lobby

In the very core - aside from ranting and yelling insults - I agree that emplacements and especially the mortar pit are bad design. Any player making use of that earns a cheap win imo. Thread: The future of COH2 post April / May patch25 Apr 2016, 19:22 PM I pretty much feel the same as OP, though not as extreme. OKW is going to be overnerfed if all those changes make it into the game. The delay put on the trucks with the fuel cost and the dependance on the Raketenwerfer is indeed huge. Late game is shifted a bit towards Allies again with the T-34 buffs and Heavy tank armor nerfs which affect Germans a bit harder as they have more heavy vehicles that are meta. The SU-85 penetration buff (better than less penetration + faster reload) and the Firefly reload time decrease are also quite significant. Ostheer T4 on the other hand is going t be cheaper and thus more viable. Especially the Brummbär buff is nice. Thus it´s no secret that OKW and Ostheer will change roles and Ostheer will be the meta faction for Axis players. Brummbär + Pak wall is my guess (for 2vs2s at least). In: Lobby
