It wipes inf? Attack with tank. It penetrates tanks? Go with schrecks blob.
It should be like that.
Or why not both. Isu has to decide which ammo to fire |
lol yeah guys relic is so nazi lol i bet they have ovens in the breakroom lol
You realise how ridiculous you sound? There aren't even any references to Nazis in the game, the only one that comes close is Obersoldaten complaining about "our leader", and the word "waffen" in the game files referring to Obers. If you stretch it, you could complain about the SS Camouflage used by Panzergrenadiers and Obersoldaten, but camouflage itself isn't an icon. Meanwhile the Hammer and Sickle, Soviet Flags, Commissars, the NKVD, and Stalin are all freely depicted or mentioned. Don't you think if Relic were "Nazi", they would at least opt to censor Soviet icons as well?
I think It is because people in the West are comfortable seeong all those ussr emblems and hearing phrases of stalin because we can make fun of it. The soviets in this game are like a caricature to be laughes at (yes it is bad but i think thats how ot is in this game ).
Meanwhile, the nazis are still a sensitive subject, especially in germany due to their association with the holocaust, so it wouldbe bad to mentiom them. It is kinda double standards, but thats how i see it |
More armor, longer range, more penetration
the most important part is what else will be with the unit. The Elefant is called in from a balanced faction, and the jagdtiger is called in from the Ubermensch SS-Relic division
lol ss relic division. That's quite good. I think I will use that |
But more importantly - if you actually believe what you are spewing, would you be willing to trade your ISU-152 for a Jad?
ehhh Soviets kinda lack the hard AT. The ISU performs okay for anti-tank duties, but is great versus those pesky obersoldaten and Axis blobs. I am pretty sure the Jagdtiger would be considered OP in Soviet hands .
Considering Axis AI and AT and tanks are better than Allied counterparts.. JT on the Allies side could make it more balanced |
It's not about compensating, it's about making it worth calling. Back then JT could counter everything (which was OP) but right now there is no point calling it. I meant it needs more tweaks to be worth investing for. For example, increase the movement speed but reduce the range and price . This way you gotta move it to the front line and risk getting flanked if you want the huge damage. I want it to be interesting, not OP.
Well im okay with it countering everything because it is one of the best AT units in the war and in the game, BUT it was doing this while shooting through obstacles and normal shot-blockers, which made it OP. Now, imo, it is balanced ( i cringe while typing this), it doesn't make sense to add more to it as an incentive to call-in. It already has amazing armor, gun, and range. |
The Jagdtiger was good on every 4v4 map, unlike the ISU. The Jagdtiger could shoot through buildings, trees, etc. This made the Jagdtiger an excellent unit in that gamemode, to the point where it is OP in 4v4s.
Now that it the shooting-shooting-through objects feature is gone, it requires more skill to utilize its advantages (range, firepower, armor). It will still be potent with good positioning and will still be a dominant force in open maps, but it can now be flanked easier in maps with buildings, obstacles, etc. |
Well it was kinda OP, and Relic took out the unfair aspect out of it. Not sure why you want to add something to it as compensation |

played about 7 games using the ISU and one game facing the ISU. I think it is balanced now. Needs more babysitting in regards to switching shells, since the different ammo types have noticeable differences. It is not the change i would have preferred, but it should be less OP now. |
I dont think making the shot avoidable will make the jagdtiger useless. seems more like an exaggeration. It is still the most heavily armored and armed tank with the best sight in the game.
I think Relic was going towards the "applying more micro" sort of deal to nerf these units. Remember when they added the manual track and shoot changes in the live beta? I am pretty sure this is a continuation of that intention. ISU will require more babysitting and awareness in regards to switching shell types. You can no longer camp an isu or a-move it in the enemy's direction without repercussion. Additionally, the Jagdtiger can no longer camp behind obstacles and snipe your tanks; it was far too safe |
i guess losing your tanks to the b4 is your fault as well trololol |
