Relic literally wrote in the patch notes themselves that the point of changing T34/85's to zero CP's and putting them in a tier building was to make them come earlier but at a price.

I think the SU-76 is a bit too cheap for it's effectiveness. But therefor if that one gets a fuelincrease (like 10) the Stug-III also needs a 10 fuel increase

An SU-76 has a 100% change to pen a PIV at every range. In numbers SU-76's don't really have anything to fear but Super Heavy TD's.

The su76 and the stuart were recently buffed to make them decent even in the face of pziv or panther. Ironically the recent teching buff for the allies might necessitate nerfing the stuart and su-76 back to the previous level.
I highly doubt that they can take on a p IV or a panther. Also the US Major now costs more, 120 fuel instead of 90 |
Indeed. It's just redicioulous. I want soviets to have a viable T3 but currently it 's just sooo freaking OP that top/better players fully abuse it. Most of the people that say that it's fine don't compete in the top 200, so don't experience the OPness at it's fullest

I have literally gone entire games since the patch never going past T3 as Soviets because there is no point. In T3 you get amazing AI, indirect fire, and a fast and incredibly cheap TD. SU-76's can easily counter anything Ostheer might throw out on the field till like 13-14 CP.
An M5 will kill a Pak gun in like 4 seconds lol and the M5 can overdrive away or towards the AT gun to avoid it's tight cone of fire.
How many people build Soviet T3 AND 4 last patch? you cant field a Stug by 13-14 CP? The patch just went live, less than 24 hours ago. |

I've played a few matches today, against legit opponents (top 200) as Soviets, and the Quad HT is a giant deal. It comes extremely early, it melts infantry, affords you field presence, and forces a major, early AT investment from OH which you can easily exploit by further investing into specialised AI, ie. Shocks, Snipers, 120s, etc. Not to mention that the SU 76 out of the same tier neutralises any eventual PIV at much smaller cost.
