Also I play Axis and hardly soviets
Can we have a playercard please? |
Play Ost, go try it and come back and ask for a MG nerf again. ( do atleast 10x 1v1s) |
Meanwhile, both axis factions have the luxury of having competitive infantry for the exact same price as that "cannon fodder" or just slightly more expensive.
I'd rather have a cannon fodder that scales the one that is a meme.
Sorry, 240 mp is NOT "cannon fodder", even 200mp osttruppen are no longer expendable(they were when they had cost of 120mp) and infantry that is incapable of cost effective fighting will never be desirable, "dey got utility" is a meme, not argument, grens have a lot of utility themselves, yet they do get fuel free LMG upgrade.
I play all factions, and i cant see soviets beeing weak. I never said anything about other factions. Penals cost more than grens/volk, but they also perform well against them. I dont get your post. |
Go recon as usf, overwatch as okw, royal artillery as ukf, something with guards or if map suits shocks (really strong atm) as soviet and as ostheer you kinda have a choice, no real powerhouse doctrine for them |
I don’t know your style of play, but the cannon fodder annoys me, I want to see my units reliable and competitive with other similar units from other factions and not cannon fodder to capture the Victory Point.
soviets have the luxury to have a choice between cannon fodder (conscripts) and reliable, competitive with other similar units from other factions(penals). |
Brb, scuttling my way to top 5 |
Vipper, you need to start practicing what you preach. Your desire to clean up the forums is commendable, but your words hold little weight when you're just as bad as everyone else the rest of the time.
read his posts carefully, he does not do that. he simply provides (the right) stats and answers very precisely. ive never seen him beeing personal. if you have seem him beeing personal or incorrect, be so kind and give some proof. |
If we talk about timings...
So, in presented scenario, assuming both players have exact same fuel income - USF player just builds Jackson first then sits with it around doing mostly nothing (maybe wrecking a LV or two), waiting for you to accumulate your extra 125 fuel (or whatever the difference between Jackson and Tiger costs), then you call in Tiger and he builds 2nd one?
Where did they got vet?
Why would you go for a Tiger if there is counter for it on the field already?
I'm sorry, I don't get it -
What is "completely wrong" in theory that you shouldn't invest 230 fuel into unit which hard counters are already present on the field?
Having opponent to have 16 pop and 720 MP and 270 FUEL (don't remember exact cost of M36, but it doesn't matter here) sitting without job, since they don't affect your infantry in any way, is completely wrong strategy?
Since jacksons hardcounters every vehicle, and jackson is build nearly every game..you should not build any tanks anymore?
I have problems winning the infantry game against vetted, double equipped rifles, but could be my lack of skill |
On the first part, all of them. It takes six shots to kill a Panther, four shots to kill a TD, and the Panther has similar reload times (~5 seconds) to the SU-85 and Jackson. It'll absolutely clobber the Firefly, which takes eight seconds to reload.
Yes, if it's defended by snare infantry and AT guns you can't do that, but the whole isolated comparision breaks down when you bring the full army in.
Or your Panther is missing the first few shots due needing to close in. Panther cant hit a barn while moving |
Besides if the jackson has everything so good why you should flank in the first place instead of staying back and making potshots at tiger?
That works quite well. I rarely see jacksons flanking. Their range and pen are enough to poke from distance and if needed can kite most tanks |
