I think everyone in this thread forgets that rifle nades consistently wipes full health squads in cover. I realize alot of Wehr players refuse to believe/acknowledge this, I need to just start capturing a video every time it happens so I can paste it into threads like this. Was playing last night and has a 5 man full health IS medic squad with double vickers get wiped by a rifle nade in yellow cover because I glanced away from a second and there was no audio cue. Things like this can be game-ending for brits.
Pls do, I often See them only taking away health and maybe 1 model lose.even clumped it's more of a gamble. I rarely use them anymore except they are very very clumped up.
Btw rifles nade has a huge Wind up, even on my shitty skill Level people dodge then most of the time |

Then, why are you trying to approach to the enemy squad with your PZGREEN???? as far as I know this unit is intended to be used at medium range......so, you don´t need to close the gap (losing one model while closing) but get cover and mantain your squad at their maximun DPS range, that in this case is mid-range....
If I´m wrong, sorry, as I´ve said, just a noob here....but it is just that I´ve seen this kind of comments when talking about PZGreens...ohh if I try to close the distance, I lost models, and then, I have to retreat...yeahhh, sure!!! bingo!!! if you try to fight a ober squad with you shock troop at long range, sure you will lose that fight....nothing wrong here, yes?? well, it is the same with PZGreens, you should use them at their best range, not at close range.
I get your point but that only Applys if you are defending. If u assault you neee to approach a Cover which is mid range in the actual battle. If u stay long range you can get out damaged. And whine u charge for the mid range Cover you often lose a model (many factors with snipers indirect fire enemy squads )which leaves ur Medium range dps quite low when u finally arrived. Vet 2 PGs destroy almost anything at medium range, you cannot charge them, even shocks will die charging them, they will lose at least 2 models, so now its 4v4 and then once the shocks are close, bundle nade, boom.
Vet 3 t-34 stronk too, is this a balance Argument? What if shocks are vet2 too? And they have smoke to close the mid range btw |

Serious Note i do think PzGrens needs a little buff for surviveability. Only a tiny one but right now you rarely See them because they are to much of a gamble to Work with (1 model is often dieing on approach which takes away alot of dps on a 4 man squad.) Its like the t-34 unit is solid but not solid enough to be a common build choice |
because it takes more than just hp to make a good meatshield? 1400 basically allow the churchill to take one more penetrating round than the King tiger.
Im fine with armor buff but you cant say it ONLY tanks 1 more round than a kt. Thats something awesome for a 150 fuel unit. |

I don't think you were rude, I agree with you. I only let mortars autofire when I am too busy elsewhere. Otherwise I am using barrage for extra rate of fire to saturate at target or use attack ground, third most used is to target in individual unit if it's part of an on the move blob but you do have to be careful to make sure to issue the stop command once they're out of range since you don't want your mortar running after them.
