Obers are balanced now in 1s I believe. They are a large investment, but they are worth every cent. I don't think ober price should be reduced because if the price was, say, 360, the squadmembers would be cheaper to reinforce by quite a bit even with the LMG/IRSTG. |
The Vet1 HEAT shells for USF Pack Howitzer don't always fire, it will just fire a normal barrage instead. I couldn't see this on Trello anywhere, could it be added?
The pack howitzer unlocks HEAT shells at vet 2. Vet 1 gives you White Phosphorus barrage I believe. |

Guys, give it up, it is quite obvious to everyone that the PTRS cannot keep its current stats when wielded by cons. It would be like giving the lmg34 upgrade to volksgrenediers. The lmg34 is fine on the obersoldatan, because the squad itself is expensive and not spammable. But give this upgrade to a much cheaper squad that you WILL have at least 3-4 of on the field at all times and you have an OP upgrade. Not to mention that lmg34 on volks would have an lmg squad that can build green cover, much in the same way that PTRS on cons gives you a squad that can sprint into their weapons' optimal range.
The conscripts aren't the problem and the PTRS isn't the problem. The problem is giving such a potent AI upgrade to such a weak squad that can benefit so immensely from it. |

The problem with the KT is that relic nerfed it directly, then indirectly nerfed it again by buffing its counter. I don't know why relic did this, but either way, we now have a KT with 375 armor vs. the Jackson with > 200 pen. Please take my thoughts with a grain of salt, as I have only used the KT twice post patch and gone against it thrice.
I think that the KT should get an armor increase to 400.
Why is this? Because I believe that as a super heavy tank that comes out quite late into the game (I am talking 1s and 2s here), it should be worth the 260 fuel that was put into it. If this was pre-shreck+ober nerf, I would agree that the KT would be fine with 375 armor, but the fact of the matter is that it just isn't viable for an OKW player to blob shrecks into KT anymore because the shreck is now far less reliable an AT weapon at max range (as it should be) and that the OKW now have a secondary muni sink in the obers/panzerfus.
On top of this, the raketen, while a great unit now, still has ten less range than most AT weapons, which means that it cannot be used in a very offensive way, or as effectively as a screening weapon.
As a result, OKW players are more and more being forced into varying their builds and building JP4s and pumas to make up for this gap in midgame AT power.
All of these factors combine to make me believe that the KT needs a slight armor buff the reflect its place at the apex of the OKW build tree. 400 armor would be a good amount, as it would give it slightly higher staying power, but not at such a high level as it used to be.

T34/76 needs either a cost reduction so it is easier to outnumber the enemy, or better hull mgs to make them more decent AI tanks.
Though I still support making T34/85s nondoctrinal with the regular HP pool and armor of the current t34/76. |
Guards PTRS is in a good spot right now. They are an expensive squad that will never be your mainline infantry.
Conscripts' PTRS is the problem. They are your first unit, and people will make a minimum of 3 of them in 1v1s. Conscripts are cheap enough to be spammed, and with hoorah they can close the distance to enemy squads and take advantage of the PTRS's 60% accuracy.
Conscript PTRS needs to become a lot less accurate to show how they are not elite troops, just fresh conscripts. Setting accuracy to about 50% (maybe even less) for conscripts ONLY would make the PTRS balanced.
I haven't had the chance to mess with partisans yet, but I think that they should be fine since they are a 270mp squad that is much easier to deal with. |
I saw a video a while ago where a zis-gun threw an AT nade and destroyed the engine of a 222. It seems to happen to any unit that was merged into.
On an unrelated note, I had a game post patch in which I had an M20 crew with a bazooka + pansershreck. I captured a raketen with it (3 models went to raketen, squad had one remaining.) The wierd thing was that the raketen had a bazooka equipped under its unit icon, and one of the weapon crew had a bazooka. Anyone else see this bug? |
