Trying to get back into the game after all my friends left awhile ago. Great to see just some of the basics etc to try and make habit and learnt a few new things. Maybe one day ill break out of the 3v3/4v4 solo queue and try a bit of 2v2 or even 1v1. Good to hear! If you are really looking to get better at the game quickly you do need to be playing 1v1. At first you will lose time after time after time, but this is exactly what you need it order to improve. Once you grasp the game mechanics and micro starts to improve under the stress of 1v1. Your game skill will increase tenfold. It's not exactly 'fun' at the start. But you won't regret doing it! In: COH2 Gameplay

This game has such a steep learning curve that guides like these are really a must for players who are so far behind. We need the player base to keep growing. Keep up the great work. Thread: Watching SCC final game 1, what can counter 2x sniper12 Oct 2015, 16:07 PM DevM played against Price's double sniper strategy and won yesterday. I would definitely recommend watching that game. The trick DevM used was to just not lose units, and bring out a counter sniper. With some excellent micro he manage to get veterancy and weapon upgrades on his squads and then get into a position where the two sniper could no longer efficiently hold off a push without retreating. The game became an epic battle of counter snipes which eventually led to his victory In: COH2 Gameplay

Even if you have played CoH2 for 2500 hours like me, you'll still find there are little new things you never knew about, hopefully this will introduce you to some new things. Thread: Best okw elite infantry8 Oct 2015, 16:56 PM As far as OKW infantry goes Obersoldaten are the strongest non-doctrinal anti-infantry inftantry. You would want to equip them with the MG34 and have them pummel units at long range which is very effective. The STG44's are very good in close range environments and also ignore cover bonus's. So utilise them on the correct maps for maximum potential. With regards to doctrinal infantry effectiveness it's really difficult to say. My honest opinion is that the panzerfusiliers are the best because they are a 6 man squad and they have access to G43's making them effective at all combat ranges. They have anti-tank abilities and grenades. So they are by far the most useful infantry type for OKW in that respect. The only real advantage that the Jaeger inf and Fallschrimjaeger have is that they can spawn from buildings. It's really a matter of good selection depending on the map! In: Strategy Desk

Thread: T34 ramming ability useful in any way?8 Oct 2015, 11:52 AM If your T34 is losing health and you are SURE it's going to die... RAM! You have a chance to get engine damage etc which will allow you to get accurate off map airstrikes or whatever.. It 'can' be very useful. One thing to remember as well is that on a ram the T34 will destroy all in it's path... that includes AT guns (Use that wisely) There's not a great deal of point ramming on full health, but if there is a big blob and you think you can crush it with ram go for it. It creates this really nice and crazy rush in the game where players fight incredibly hard for it. As much as you can lose the tank to the enemy, the enemy can also lose a lot of units attempting to steal it The game would be incredibly boring without all these little things I feel In: COH2 Balance
