The devil is in the details. lumping the current panther into the same group as the pure TD is a gross simplification at best, and a complete disregard for reality at worst.
Still tho....the concept art is super cringe. BF1 sort of stretched history slightly with with the female Bedouin badass and blacks in the German army as support class but it was still whatever. But 2 of the 3 in the pic being women? Lol. I get you gotta have your token diversity in 2018, but its nearly gotten to the point of being extreme feminist revisionist history if that pic is legitimate.
It's just leaked concept art, they could theoretically be 2 different versions of the same woman.
Indie developers don't create AAA games which have a way higher and more ambitious goals. Stardew Valley, Terraria, FTL, Theyarebillions, FEZ, Undertale, Spelunky, Super Meat boy, Cuphead, Don't Starve, This war of mine, etc... I don't see them with high production values. Plenty of VAs working on 4/5 languages, 3d graphics, marketing campaigns, flying them to show their product on plenty of game conventions, etc. Do they need to rent a server for thousands of players or they can just release any update via steam ?
If someone can mention any high production indie do so, cause the ones i can think of had their backs covered by mega corporations such as Sony. No man Sky was a flop, Journey can barely be called an indie. If there's any i'm sure they are mostly a single player experience.
PD: can multi million patreon project such as Star citizen be considered a indie ? Exceptions are not the norm.
Does PoopG count if it was made by some unknown Korean dev?
I humbly apologize for my obscene ignorance . It was plugged into the motherboard rather than the GPU. Just got an average of 50FPS on mostly high settings.
Don't worry about it, most people have done the same thing before.
I wonder why sega still thinks this event interests anybody. Valentines day is the least useful date to make an event for rts games. Nobody really cares about it, its just a reason to fill all the cinemas and restaurants for one day. Why would anybody try to combine it with gaming industry? Not to mention this is the 5th edition and neither of them was sucessful in any way...
Because everybody knows that gamers are NERDS that don't leave the house with a date.
It seems to me that New Relic is willing to - or perhaps feel they downright need to - radically pursue broader customer appeal, rather than improve on what already works.
I just don't think that's going to happen.
People said the exact same thing after CoH2's horrible launch. I don't think it will change much.
