Thread: Captain fuel cost6 Oct 2014, 03:02 AM I've been playing team games lately and almost always go for captain first. I also never take the captain out of my base, since he's much more effective at giving me near instant built times for every unit I need in a pinch. The benefit to team games (as long as your team actually holds a fuel point) is that with the rapid wide-spread capping you have the fuel for a captain before you even realise it. Then there's a small wait for the stuart fuel in which I can usually pump out 1-2 AT guns to deal with pumas or early P4s. I live for the stuart though. Yes, you have to micro it, but self-repairs make that a minor issue. In most team games I am stalled by kubels and MGs prior to that point. Once I get the stuart in there, that section of the map is usually mine very quickly. They particularly seem to eat sturmpioneers for breakfast. Thread: Slow loaders in team games cause everyone to drop4 Oct 2014, 13:26 PM Hi. I've encountered a frustrating issue several times lately, and I'm not sure if it's a hack, exploit, or bug. I'm hoping somebody might be able to shed some light on it. In some team games one of the players will take substantially longer than others to load the game. When the map finally loads, gameplay is still frozen for another minute or two while the slow-loading player's game continues to initialise (players can communicate during this time). Usually the game will eventually start anyway, but occasionally the game suddenly says that everyone has dropped, including yourself, and you lose the match. All of this happens before you can ever do anything. It has always been someone on the opposing team when this has happened, and has always resulted in a loss for me. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? In: COH2 Bugs
Thread: Issue Tracker4 Oct 2014, 10:01 AM Personally, I'm loving it It's a great way to air all these concerns in a highly visible and organised manner, as opposed to important stuff being buried under ranting and fragmented threads in forums. Through collaboration, even vague issues can be elaborated on easily. Supporting evidence through attachments has already been included as well. Accounts are a barrier to the mass entry required for good voting numbers, of course, but anonymous editing would probably be too risky. One-click Google access is a good start. If this kind of issue tracker could be incorporated into this website or the official COH2 forums, that would probably help. In the meantime, the least we can do is demonstrate its viability. If problems with the layout exist, they are incredibly easy to modify, so feel free to make suggestions. In: COH2 Bugs

Thread: I like gifts. 9 Sep 2014, 04:05 AM Ugh. I always dread a cast of a replay I didn't upload I'm incredibly lost as Soviets at the moment, especially against OKW. My rank is going up and down by about 800 places every couple of days. When Lend-Lease commander came out I got up to about rank 50 with just conscripts and call-in shermans, but I'm now finding that stall impossible, as shown with my experimentation in this game (I've almost never used guards before). Since this match, I've been going for standard t-34s instead to fill that gap, although given my advantage here, I think SU-85s would have been smarter, especially if I had noticed the Pak 43 earlier. I hate pushing an opponent's fuel on this map because it's right next to their base, meaning they can reinforce easily and I can't. I usually get fully retreated soon after, leaving them to capture the map back freely. Obviously a half-track would help. Kudos to that damn sniper, btw I was definitely getting desperate trying to use that ZIS barrage on it. In: Replays
