You should never go infantry company in 4v4 to begin with.
If you single USF player, your purpose is too flood battlefield with infantry and play as aggressive as possible with it to create space for brits. So, rifle company, 1 rifle, 3 call-in rifles, grenades and flamethrowers asap. You should easily destroy your opponents with this build, always spread and always flank, use smoke to advance etc. If you on right side of lienne, you can also forget about existence of other tanks outside of e8s.
In case of double USF, airborne is always good choice to complement rifle co. Builds may wary, but my personal preference is double rifles, and ambulance to heal and reinforce them on the field. Then capt, paras, major and jacksons.

I would say problem is not even squadwipes on bunched squads which really rare, problem is how accurate bazookas and shrecks against infantry in general. Yes, they are not sniping models on regular basis, but it happens too often for such powerful portable AT weapons, which should reduce AI capabilities of squad carrying it, yet effect is exactly opposite. You should never a-click buildings with British sniper. He wields at weapon, if you order him to attack building, he would try destroy building instead of sniping models inside of it. Just disable hold fire when you need to kill garrisons and let him auto-attack. He is bugged atm and have 100% accuracy against buildings so you can very well enjoy the show. if you are losing wasp to mg42 theres something definetely wrong with your micro It dies to 1 incendiary burst, i dont even use wasps anymore they are too crappy for their cost. Soviet one, urban defense doctrine. From what i know its quite easy to stack buff on usf infantry via entering/exiting any vehicle under FHQ buff. On top of that it possible to stack buff on team weapons via killing gun crew under buff to re-crew it again (buff applies to the gun, not the crew, so every time weapon re-crewed, it gains stats increase). Its not necessary bad thing, all comes down to how things done. For example, in latest patch Relic buffed allied infantry to ease allied bleed in late game, and predictably axis late game suffered greatly, coz now allied infantry is better in early, mid and late game. This kind of one-sided buffs are bad. But then how disgustingly op were obers before their nerfs was arguably even worse. They should find middle ground. Different factions should have some advantage one over another in different stages of game, but this advantage should not be overwhelming. As for ff, and other specific units, they should just ignore those cries. FF is not tank fighter, it is a tank burster. If brits want to fight tanks they have their superb AT guns. Anyone who cries over ff just using it wrong, it excellent unit for it niche. p.s. Soviet tiering tech change were stupid. If you dont like old sov tier choices, ffs, just play wehr. Zeroing artillery is just bugged and broken garbage. Thats exactly my point. Carpet bombing was over the top that made okw forward truck play useless which IMO is needed because okw is so subpar in the infantry game until you get vetted call in infantry and obers. Thats not fair. No arguing there, but i think Relic nerfed it in a wrong way. Air supremacy should have something like 10 minutes cd, but worth it cost. THERE are a lot of bad off mpas, but we don't need thi game to turn into company of indirect fire and arty strikes. Thats just bad gameplay. We've already gotten a heavy dose of what thats like with isg/pack howie spam. So, mines and demos, eh? There is thin line between company of this and company of that, but i think more options to counter static play and AT guns walls would only improve game. Ofc, as said before, air supremacy should be nerfed in some way, currently it too spammable and too powerful. But at the end, it should worth it, and not turn into garbage of majority of another off-maps, which need buffs. Its a bad gameplay while one side get all doomsday device abilities, but, as i said, if both get them as viable and balanced option to reliably to some extend counter camping and pak walls, it would be for the best, at least from my perspective.
