Without a -33% VET req across the board VET 5 feature is currently worthless. |
The tank currently feels highly ineffective and with addition of british heavy armour and now pershing plus unilateral increase in penetration on many allied AT options i believe requires a penetration buff to become useful again.110 penetration is utterly horrible,given what dirt cheap 60 range TDs like su-76 are getting. |
Axis infantry -
Grenadiers - Bad without LMG,faust less useful now,rifle grenade largely useless now against any proper player,30 reinforce cost,4 man easywipe squads.Bad veterancy,can't fire on move.
Once allied infantry gets vet, lmg grens won't do enough dmg either.Lategame dies like flies to allied infantry.
Panzergrenadiers - 4 man squads easywipe,high cost,loses 1/4 dps each man killed.Without vet 2 is largely bad .Can't stop lategame allied infantry even with vet.Bundle nade is a big joke.
Volksgrenadiers - The biggest joke of the lot.Only has a grenade,nothing else.Bad veterancy.Poor at everything -just cannon fodder overall.Totally useless.
Obersoldaten - 4 man squads.Recieved accuracy nerfed first,then dmg nerfed,lmg cost added.Hugely expensive,cost ineffective ,brutal reinforce cost and time.And still can't beat allied lategame infantry with LMGs cost effectively.
Fallschirmjager - Huge entry cost.That maybe justified due to style of entry.What is the justification of enormous reinforce cost thereafter -entry is onetime thing..cost too should be onetime thing..not penalize u allgame.Fragile as hell .No better than panzergrenadiers.
Only cost effective infantry to some extent are pzfusiliers.
Against brutal rifles,rifle flamers,paras,rangers,IS,commandoes,shocks etc etc.
Total mismatch and slaughter. |

OKW=Everything about the faction is shit.Needs major overhaul.
Wehr= Grens needs something mid-lategame.
Pz 4 needs penetration or cost reduction.
T4=Needs to be cheaper
Brumbarr and ostwind=Need to be useable
Panzergrenadiers =need slight buff.
Otherwise the win ratios are visible.One sided masscre if allied side know what they are doing. |

Thats not called overperforming, thats called performing to expectations.
My point is unless there are powerful vet 4 and 5 bonuses which is regularly achievable ,and strong units in general bordering on OP -there is no justification for resource penalties.You can't nerf these units without faction collapsing like now because it is inherently hobbled from the start with penalties. |

Double nerf killed the unit.Now OKW defenceless against ukf/us allied infantry much of the time.OKW needs some purposedly OP units to make up for its brutal penalties.
Or remove vet 5 and resource penalty thing altogether and turn it into regular faction. |
Thing is, vet 4 obers and falls overperform for their cost. Problem is, getting them there while being cost efficient about it
They should overperform for their cost by a margin,otherwise the massive resource penalty is meaningless. |
The main question is still this- what are the 'extremely powerful units' and vet 5 good for right now in OKW gameplay that justifies the crippling resource penalties.
All the powerful units are nerfed,vet 5 is an excuse rather than an actual regular feature in competitive games.
33% fuel and 20% munitions is a huge penalty,rewards should be commensurate with risk.Right now it isn't.Its a very weak faction. |
