So after the KT has been nerfed and the panther has been indirectly nerfed people try to make "forgotten" units more viable and suddenly 1 YEAR AFTER wfa got released people complain that the JP4 is op and needs a nerf, because it's actually doing its job, destroying vehicles.
If the JP4 was op or its vet 1 ability it was also already one year ago and nobody complained, why the sudden change? We're in the mood to make another OKW OP thread just for the gold old memories? |
Queenratchet
>obers come with a free lmg -> op
>captain & lieutenant should be not capped and come with free upgrades (120 muni & 60 muni) -> perfectly fine
not even considering the fact it looks stupid when more commander units run around than riflemen |
Hmmm that sounds surprisingly like a Panzer Wefer....
Wouldn't you agree Katitof?
US mortor seems quite poor and certainly needs a buff to bring it on par with Ost one
They have the same stats, it was buffed with the last patch.
The only difference are the abilities. |
Also you can barrage light vehicles with it, sometimes when you have luck it sticks to the vehicles, pretty much ensuring they get destroyed. |
I would love to see new units and commanders for every faction.
However I don't think more static arty is something this game needs.
It's a fast paced game and arty is usually a snore fest and reminds me of comp stomps and annihilation mode.
I personally would love to see a Nebelwerfer just like in coh1 or some vehicle that can transport troops and provide other utility.
Okw was designed as heavy mechanised force, yet they can't even transport troops. |
Is that a joke? You really think it is easier to get a jackson out of a bad position then it is a tiger? Well then, I can see why you are having problems. I guess in your opinion axis needs a better AT option then the pak40 as well?
Jackson has no vision, no health, and no armor. It is a "tank hunter" that can only reliably pen about half the tanks in the game. It faces the most effective AT in the game, and its enemies have very effective off-map abilities against it as well. The very definition of an OP unit right?
Look I spotted AceLolCake.

Tiger is now in a defensive role, and not used to be a spearhead which is now for KT/panthers.
I see lot of post complaining about Ostheer but i think they are actually awesome, like FaustCost said after patch they have plenty of viable gamestyle : Elefants are awesome, Howitzer 105mm + Arty Officer are awesome, encirclement doc is awesome, mortar HT are deadly, you also have Pak43, Close OP support, ...
If you loose as Ostheer it's L2P issue and #adapt.
Encirclement awesome
LefH awesome
Oh grandmaster of coh2, is this your playercard? |
Cover your Tiger with 2 paks, cover the paks with a MG42 and use a sniper to punish squads that try to take your paks or hmg out.
And most importantly, wipe squads with your Tiger and slowly push forward with your force so your paks always retaliate every Jackson shot.
It comes always down to the fact that combined arms > all. |
The unit is not op.
It's job is to kill infantry and that is exactly what it is doing.
It's not one shotting every squad, wipes happen but that's a issue both sides have to deal with.
It's range is low and the unit takes a lot of micro due low healthpool. (320 hp)
Every 70 range axis unit one shots it and 60 range units (pak40 & jp4) make it very hard to operate.
Honestly I rather deal with the M8A1 than with a calliope that has the potential to wipe complete armies.
The unit has clear & accessible counters use them instead of complaining. |
Yeah including all the games I already have! |
