I still use them, but in a very defensive position. It's true, if you put them too agressively on a vp or enemy cut off they get destroyed asap. But protecting your own cut off or inflicting MP loss when the enemy advances to your lines is still viable with mortar pits and bofors. |

I was advocating since WFA to move schreck from volks to a special Anti Tank squad unit, make volks cost more, so the late german is represented by mp intensive squads and not cannonfodder soldiers and give volks good AI upgrades.
To receive free weapons through veterancy somehow stays in conflict with the core game mechanics ( you buy upgrades with munitions ) and could be abused with a team mate via elite doctrine.

No, putting HMGs in buildings is already quite risky. You should be rewarded for it with a wide arc. Not really an issue imo, clearing mgs from buildings is part of the l2p abc. |
We have this already in multiplayer. Just play soviets and you have that tank. |
The game is build around certain Damage values and health pools.
Churchills break this rules, you can not cost effectively counter churchills. They are too cheap for the hp pool and power they provide.
You need far more popcap to counter them than they take and honestly I don't get still why they have more HP than 230+ fuel super units.
My thoughts on this:
CROC / AVRE -> down to 1080 hp (Tiger, IS2) from 1400 hp
Normal churchill -> down to 1280 hp (King Tiger) from 1600 hp.

The soviet 2vs2 ranks are actually the 2vs2 allies AT ranks while the 2vs2 ostheer ranks are actually the 2vs2 axis AT ranks.

I love how people make assumptions how much micro a faction needs without ever playing them in multiplayer.
I think usf in a pretty good spot... A mobile aggressive faction. The upcoming commanders will them make even more versatile |
I got rekt by the Soviet sniper in a game yesterday on crossing in the woods. You can not counter snipe the Soviet sniper and since the tech cost you can always go t1 & t2 making light vehicles useless. Two soviet snipers will always force a retreat due the 4 men squads, so I don't think the sniper needs a buff. Honestly, less snipers means more fun. |
