From recent 75th anniversary of D-Day.

These last living vets will soon be RIP, can Relic make a faithful sequel to CoH?

Quote WW2 vets (Harold McMurran):
"Save what we have given you"

Rishi Sharma is a World War II historian, and he is on a quest to meet and interview every single World War II combat veteran of the Allied countries. So far, he has talked to more than 1,000 veterans. “Every single day of these heroes’ lives has been about other people, and the only way we can learn from them is by talking to them,” Sharma says. He meets veteran Harold McMurran in Normandy, France. McMurran was 19 on D-Day.

WWII enemies reunited in D-Day anniversary:
“I hope we are friends”
“We are more than that. We are brothers.”

A lot of time has passed, but how do British and German veterans view each other today?

We introduced two of them to each other, for the first time.

Putting politics to one side is difficult, but for German veterans coming back, the memories are no less painful. Thousands of them died on D-Day.

We’re joined afterwards by two more British veterans - Bill Gladden and Dickie Forester.

D-Day Vet: ‘Saving Private Ryan’ Movie Scenes Are Accurate:

A D-Day veteran was surrounded by love as he traveled with his family to Normandy to pay tribute to his fallen comrades in arms. Frank DeVita and dozens of family members and friends traveled to the French beach for the 75th anniversary of the battle that shifted the course of World War II. The New Jersey native, who was a gunner’s mate 3rd class on the USS Samuel Chase, said he still has vivid memories of the battle. He was 19 at the time and brought troops to the beach.
