Can any artist/photoshop expert help me with my overlay?

I'm working on this one:



Now I'm trying to turn this logo into something that fits onto my overlay. But it's handdrawn and I'm not sure how I can make this as a black/white logo. The idea behind all this is to show the mathematical way of drawing a pentagram ^^



It was part of a bigger theme but I wanna use just the star itself:

Symbi, what's the chances of you being able to ink the lines out? if you did that you could scan it in then live trace it into Illustrator.

if you didnt want to ink it though, you could still scan it in (as is) and use the pen tool in illustrator to trace everything manually into vector i.e

Yours would obviously have more of a hand drawn look but you catch my drift. Maybe half an hours work I rec.

Sorry for double post. I would do it in illustrator. I did this one in about 3-4 mins. its a bit off in terms of coords but you get the idea. (sorry bout red b/g you couldn't see the white bits.) plus its vector so you can scale up/down as much as you want without it distorting.

Def the way to go.
