Scout car 221 now cost 15 fuel?

I started playing today and noticed the scout car cost 15 oil. When did it change from 25 fuel, and why? Is this a bug?

They've always been 25, haven't they?

And if there's no patch notes on it, it's pretty fair to ask about it.

How is the scout car junk?
At vet2 it can solo a t70 and win.
By the way, this decreased cost is going to make vetting them even easier than before.

coh1 the non up gunned version was 225 mp and the upgunned one was 15 fuel and i dont remember mp. that was the pe. wehr had their own equal sniper, bike, and my favourite sniper hunter, the almighty schwimmwagon. speaking of which Relic make a schwimmwagon commander with every version. ones that cap, ones that have mg's, ones that have 88's on them... o i miss my schwim.

I can confirm that the scout car is now 80MP/15F. Tested in skirmish mode.

Just because your opponent wasn't good does't mean SC is too powerful. At even skill, i doubt it could reach vet 3 easily. 1 AT gun shot or 1 mine instakills it. Why didn't he have combined arms and a coscript near by to AT it.

Too vague, it's like saying I used a cheap ostruppen to kill a sniper because it was poorly positioned and not protected.

i wonder how long take you to circle that SU85 and your enemy didn't use that chance to take over most of the flag while you microing that SC?

What on earth are you guys talking about saying it's bad? A well microd scout car is one of the most efficient units in the game. Even if you lose it late game, it can easily pay for itself many times over in the mid game.

german vet 2 light vechs are blatantly OP.
15 + PTRS shots
10+ t70 shells
5+ t34 shells

The Scout car was fine at 25 fuel. I hope this is a bug.

To pay itself off manpower-wise it has to only kill 4 conscripts (4x20MP). If it finishes off a squad or sniper it has already payed itself. Assuming a fuel point is worth 3 manpower points, you would need to kill 4 conscripts more to make it pay off, requiring a total of 8 conscript kills. My average scout car has somewhere around 10+ kills. So usually the 221/222 pays off.

the enemy was not that good and the SU85 turned as well

@moonhoplite: I agree with you :) the scout car is fine imo. But the question is, why do they reduced the fuel cost ?
