Yeah I am a bit sad as well Relic and/or Microsoft didn't give some Info at Gamescom. But well I guess that is because there is not that much to show atm

I don't think they will reveal any stuff regarding to AOE IV since there are two upcoming games from this franchise: AOE II DE and AOE III DE. So they don't want to overlap the same player database with two games of the same franchise at the same time.

They'll wait for said players to have spent for AOE II DE and AOE III DE first.
... THEN Release.
And find that all their prospective customers have already burnt their gaming budget

Basically, we still have no more information about AoE4 except one trailer? Maybe they haven't progressed enough with the game's development and do not want to start the hype train too early.
