if you want to quit a multiplayer game just type "/leave" into CHAT.
i have seen alot of people complain that they have had a team mate that refuses to surrender, so they have to "exit to windows" to leave the game. well here is the answer to your frustration.

I actually like the fact that you can't leave, prevents all those people that would drop immediately seeing ranks etc from doing so

Doesn't prevent that at all, just makes it a pain in the ass if you know the game is over but your teammate is retarded.

a lot of people try to surrender when they've lost a lot of stuff in a big fight despite the fact that their teammate is still in a very good position.
I've won countless games where I refused my teammate to surrender, and I've won as much when I tried to surrender and my mate declined.
This is way there's no button in the first place.

ivé lost more battles when i tried to surrender then when i tried to surrender and my teammate declined. for me its just a postponement of execution, and this new tip for me will prevent of this frustration

i have won loosing battles where my team-mate is very bad. and no its not satisfactory having to make up for his incompetence.
