I can't play automatch and join any basic matches

Yesterday i felt like playing vCoH again(thanks to Xcoms stream ;)) so i decided to install it and play it like the good ol days.
But i can't seem to join any servers at all, not one. I always get ''connection to the host timed out''.

This is a new problem for me, because months ago before i quit vCoH during the steam version it worked fine and i never had this connection problem that i'm facing right now.
I'm however able to create basic matches and have people join me. This is the only game where i have this problem, all other games online works fine.

Anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

Restart steam and if that doesn't work; properties > local files > verify intregrity of game cache.

Steam version is kinda fugly sometimes you and the person you are trying to play both have to restart steam to connect. If you are automatching, just keep clicking the error messages and eventually you will get a game. I don't think this is a problem on your end, its just the same shit everybody else is going through.
